Your Emergency Fund is Stupid | Where to Invest My Emergency Fund

One question that I have. Do you have your emergency fund in it own brokerage account or mixed in with your other investments, but have a portion for your EM. Let say you have $100,000 in your investment. Is it all in one account or do you have $90,000 in one brokerage and $10,000 for your EM in another brokerage account?

Technically, it doesn't matter if it's in brokerage or two, as both are still insured by the federal government. However, I'm one of those that believes in pushing money around so that it's not all in one place, because you never know what's going to happen to any individual brokerage account.
