Those serums that did not change the color of the iodine solution can still be effective for the skin. Because it has inactive vitamin-c which is activated when applied on the skin, hence they don’t change the color. Those that changed the color, have l-ascorbic acid or any other form of active vitamin c. And hence it can change the color. This is NOT the correct way to check the effectiveness of the serum.
