No such film. You couldnae love it that much if you cannae even remember the title. In the Mouth of Madness is good, but I reckon Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13, Halloween, and the other two parts of his Apocalypse Trilogy, i.e. The Thing and Prince of Darkness, though that film was ultimately unrealised, to be better movies. Arguably even Dark Star, Escape from New York, and They Live despite the script being a bit off. The Fog is good, too. Not as good though.

Your Favourite Film Is Crap - Limmy's Homemade Show. 12.4.24. I feel nothing. As it matters little what others think re: Choice of film. most folk will cling to films which make an impression. Though that is testament to the fact that there are no decent storylines to proffer...full on horror movies work well. Jn the cut and thrust of the proverbial kill or be killed or the hi jinx of the chase, dialogue is gonna be limited. Tarantino's smug whimsy has had it's day..The pulp western novel is probably where it's at...so any budding film maker, rather than dealing with tedious and pretentious French script writers, need to go seek out those allegedly laughable German novellas and tall tales out in the Midwest. The western is still where it's at, just transpose the setting to one of your choosing...all American films are westerns, from film noir to the haughty melodrama, just dont tell yer mum...
