personally, mattress and a pillow is the only stuff you should never cheap out on. You spend 1/3 of your life there. Having a good bed makes your day not horrible when you wake up.

I just want to add: MEN please get a small bathroom trash can! If you ever plan on having any woman to your apartment (mom, sister, cousin, dates, etc.) we need somewhere to throw away feminine products in your bathroom. It’s like $1 to buy a bathroom trash can. You don’t even need trash bags for it just line it with a grocery bag. Do not make the women in your life have to carry that into the kitchen to throw it away! ❤❤❤
@PissMikeOff11 ай бұрын
I do have a girlfriend and we will be living together, so I'm sure she's gonna get the trash. But if I was living alone, I would not have bought a bathroom trash can, but this perspective really opened my eyes for son in the future etc. Ngl, I never really thought about it like this.
@cactus.315711 ай бұрын
@@PissMikeOff yeah I figured I’d comment it since a lot of men haven’t thought about it. It’s not something y’all deal with so it’s not something you’d really have to think about. 💕 glad I could open your eyes to it!

Save on buying essentials like silverware, plates, etc through dollar stores. Splurge on comfort items like a mattress or furniture before you decide to move...stock up on non perishables. Stock and save on everything. Stock and save, stock and save, rinse and repeat. Make your list, check it twice, and again and again. Take three days off to move everything. Set boxes where they belong.. kitchen boxes in the kitchen, bedroom, and so on. Then get the big items out. Invest in a hand truck or dolly. Trust me. You'll be glad you did. Pro tip: don't forget the shower curtain. When you finish getting organized, reward yourself with a beer. Plus, do it all yourself because you know where things should be. Don't tell everyone that you moved out so your friends don't try to turn it into a party palace or a cheap motel if you know what I mean. You need some peace and quiet for fuck's sake. Enjoy your new space.

You can find insane deals for knives and pots/pans at estate sales if you’re close to suburban areas. You can occasionally find $100+ knives for less than $10. A few of which comes with good warranty and free factory sharpening. Edit: a standard chef’s knife can handle almost anything a reasonable person will be doing in a kitchen, a serrated knife can be nice for things that are soft but have a “tough” exterior, and a paring knife can be nice if you want something small and maneuverable.

Thanks for the tips. Never would have thought of a toilet roll holder. Also, I recommend maybe "borrowing" a plate or two from your parents. If you are moving out of a family home with parents with your partner, that's 4 plates. And maybe a towel or two as well.

For a matress you can start out with a blow-up camping matress, or a cot. It's easier to travel with and able to move around better than buying a full set bed, or buy a simple bed frame and matress for mobile purposes.

I couldn't not disagree more on pillows. You are going to end up spending more money in the long run on pillows if you get the cheap ones. I am not easy on pillows, I got a nice pillow like years ago and is still looking full after 8 years, and others have lasted me less than a year. I also find cheap pillows to be soft even the firmest of the cheap pillows.

Bruh buy yourself some wood from homedepot and make a table yourself at home not that hard to do with youtube these days. you can also make a dresser yourself only costs the amount of wood and stain buy a bunch of stuff from goodwill if you absolutely need those items. Sometimes it's good to understand the basic strategies and indicators in making a profitable trade come through..As a beginner and a newbie you shouldn't be in a rush without proper knowledge of what you are investing on..A newbie in crypto should be long term minded and also work close with good financial advisors.
