HOPEFULLY THIS GUIDE HELPS FOR YOUR **FIRST DAY** IN SEASON 2! I know that a full guide explaining all the differences about season 2 would also be helpful (it's on my to-do list). It's worth mentioning that I'm in a role-play server, and I didn't mention the loyalty 10 items because they're not terribly relevant to most players (will cover in another video soon).

I needed this 6 days ago :/ But luckily I have done everything you said already (on the first day I was up for 21 hours to maximize the gain from the boosts). Also, I only focus on 2 commanders (Gandalf, Theo) as I simply can't get enough troops for 3. Takes too long. As for Eowyn: she's fine without cavalry as well with the shieldmaiden skill. I still use Theoden. Cavalry is expensive, takes time to get and to conscript but he's my best commander by far. What is ridiculous though is how many players there are. We ran out of tiles in a few days. There are no decent tiles under 200 power now. So grab what you can fast.

With a good fellowship you should work together to get the high tile for mock battles. Several can hit the tile together.

Hey chisgule! Thanks for your videos, good info and tips. Goodluck in gondor for season 2. I'm in gondor on my season 2 server and were getting hammered by everyone lol Side note: there is a purple accessory that gives you +resource gathering. So you don't have to refine/strengthen a yellow but a purple. (A lot easier to accomplish imo)

Just incase you didn't notice. But in season 2 you will not get resources from the Redbook even if you haven't finished it in season 1. You will only get respect items, gems, and equipment

My biggest mistake/learning curve was ping theoden end of last season and pumped to use him at the start of S2 so I went with all out cavalry, and having Dain at the start I still invested alot into dwarfs even tho I'm rohan for the second season running, I could have progressed alot faster early on if I played more sensible, heck, lesson learnt for S3 🤣

Another tip: HOARD MATHOM COINS! The first special chest has the new commanders, and at least for Light Side it is totally worth it to hoard coins, even from the end of s1, to use them on this first special chest. The second chest is gear only with a slightly better drop for purple and golden gear, so its not really worth it at least for me... I had a really good first 24 hours this time, even managed to get to top 5 RP production, and it was mostly doing the same things you advice. I focused on 2 commanders (Gandalf and Arwen), abused Gathering on tiles as high as possible, and used a Stamina Potion too. I'm Rohan and the start is a little more rough, as it's t1 cavalry is not as cheap and it's not easy to keep low casualties with how squishy they are, but it's still doable. I hope we can get more of these LOTR videos man :)

Great engagement in the video. A tip from one who makes educational videos. The zoom in and out thing…. How does that work for you? What is the purpose of it? Is it that important to zoom in at you as speaker from time to time? Have you made a survey of this from your followers perspective? Check at 12:24… when you zoom in. The viewer can’t see what you mean or refer too because of this zoom in and out thing you are doing. My tip is. Do smoother zoom overs if at all. I th8nk it is good enough for you to be in the right bottom corner and the whole gamescreen visual all the time. If you need something visual to happen, put in infographics like word-pop-ups, text boxes or some such. Why not have a disposition about what to zoom in at the game and when or when tomput in different objects to create activity to your videos. I understand that you decided to do this zoom in and out thing at post-production, because there was nothing visual happening except you talking. This can be changed or done differently with other methods than zooming slightly in to just zoom out again. Otherwise… useful content for new players like me, but the video manuscript disposition and post-production could be improved to make it even better and engaging. Keep it up!

I started at the end of season 2, then started learning the game season 2. I made my own fellowship, and the other fellowship in our faction is begging us to join them lol. My main commander is Haldir though... I kind of wish that I had more members in my fellowship

How do you know when your server is going to the new season? Our server is still Season 1, we (Mordor) just took the ring a few days ago. How much longer do I have to do things like Red Book, hoard gems, etc?

I can't use any of those good side troops for some reason. When i try they are in inventory but in grey, maybe because i didn't get into gondor. Had to pick Mordor. This game just became old news for me. Sucks to sit sidelines for 1 season before i can get my Gandalf and those to level up again.

I'm curious, how did you build your Gandalf now that you got him R7? Did you change it up a lot from when you had him when you were in Season 1 or did you pretty much keep him the same with some minor differences? I also don't know if you know this but you can see the max refine of equipment. If you go to your inventory and click the equipment you want, there is a little book on the top right, click that and the checkmark box that says see max level. Helps so much to see what you want to refine and what you don't want to.

Curious about changing faction for S2. If for example Gondor in S1 decide to go Angmar for S2 will they all go to the same server?

People who pick RP go to the same server, and vice versa for people who don't pick RP, so a faction change will not make you go to another server than the others.

I wish they would make F2P servers. Hell, I assume lack of revenue is why they wouldn't but I'd pay an entry fee for the server if it meant there were no in-game purchases. I've made 3 accounts so far and had fun but each time one faction has had big spenders taking a huge early lead and everyone just fights other factions and hopes the big one doesn't come for them.
