Something not clear but helpful to know with control is that maxing out that ability reduces the time for ability points to regenerate from 1 hour 12 minute and 2 seconds to 48 minutes flat. Which equals out to an extra 11 ability pints per 24 hours for gathering or doing mock battles.

I literally reset my ring no less than 60 seconds before this video was posted hahaha wish I waited till after. I decided to reset because I was going the resource route but changed my mind to focus on stamina since that is the only thing in the game you cant pay or spend anything on that hurries it up (yes I know there is a rare item that replenishes)

Mock Battles are really helpful for getting your main commander up levels while using a secondary to march towards some distant battlefield. If you use the upgrades, it's half the stam needed for a regular battle, no troop losses like you get on 200+ tiles almost all the time, and the upgrade is double the amount of XP increase than the battles one.

Apparently Powerful Sweeping also affects the attacks against NPCs on tiles when you conquer the tile and now just a "sweep" battle. I maxed it out and will check out the difference.

On the sweeping side...Sweep for conscription -10% and +10% damage when attacking tiles (pve/pvp). Read the battle log you'll see

I think the levy only boost the building rss and not the tile rss. "resource tribute bonus" buff from the levy has similar name to your tribute buildings.

I've got the math wrong about the resources tree. I should check in game, but from your video, both the Levy and Abundant Grain work on your buildings production, not the tile production. With 15 more grains that i don't know where they came from. But thanks, i'm learning a lot from your videos, the game is quite more complex than you think at the begining

a good guide would be to explain troop counters. i can kill 170 wood tiles with almost no losses but for a 170 tile of another rss it takes me 3 marches. this game has 10++ trooptypes and theres no explaination on troopcounters(and apparently they are a massive deal)

the general idea is, to have an army that is good against anything. like if you attack a tile, you'll never know, what you'll encounter since its all random. what i generally like to do is 2 melee units, one counters melee, the other cavalry, both are pretty durable (high defense and HP) and in the backline i put archers (who also counter large enemies), they do a big part of the damage as well. i play rohan, so the "good guys". which means guard of the tower+cataphract and bow knights. another setup i love to use with eowyn is cavaliers/marshals+cataphracts and bow knights, basically a full cavalry lineup. it entirely depends on your commanders tho

When you go to war, you need at least 20 free tile slots, you need to take the tiles fast, and a lot of them

It says focus damage, which I believe means that it just improves the damaging abilities that use focus, like burn, poison, and pure focus abilities.

Sorry but commander exp 5% bonus is not worth it once you hit level 70 ring power because if you have a 200 tile you can mock battle with insane EXP plus the control ability maxed does reduce the time to earn them

Im sorry chiseled but this is completely wrong. You should have all your ability point deep onto the sweeping tree. +20% commander exp from sweeping, -10 energy per sweep, +20% commander xp, +20% resources, etc. I get half a million food an hour from sweeping and way more xp than anything else.
