Other good place to make a temporary base is Breeders hut (don't know their actual name) but they're made to resemble in-game versions of Pokemon Daycares - not only do they have PC and Healer but they're usually surrounded by wheat and other crops, which in turn can mitigate early game problem with running out of food after everything pillaged from village runs down.

@@KingKoral absolutely correct. I tend to think that by the time you've run out of food you've probably set up your own farms, but the daycare building certainly gives you a leg up in that regard.

This video is epic, quick question though, since your using curseforge do you use the pixelmon “mod pack” or the “pixelmon mod” I saw in curseforge that there is two pixelmons by the same dudes but I’m not sure which one is better to download What mods are you using?

Thank you! I use the mod pack, just with the additions I mentioned (sophisticated backpacks, way stones, etc).

Thank you, and you're quite right. In my video on poke balls (the most recent one) I corrected myself on that. I remembered it wrong, once I did a bit of reading up I noticed my mistake :)

The new pixelmon is so much worse then the original version... god i sound like an old man

I am an old man. I'm on the fence - compared to the old (super old) version I find this to be fun, but the looks of it all, and the ease of loot, seem off. I'd go for cobblemon, but it's lacking so many systems compared to Pixelmon (due to how new it is) that I'm holding off for now. As I say, Pixelmon is still great fun.

I'm trying to add the "Sophisticated Backpacks" mod to my Pixelmon modpack, but it says it's incompatible. Do you know why this might be?

@@JermaLover you need the file for 1.16.5. it defaults to the latest version. If you're using curseforge then going into the profile, and hit the 3 dots (I think it is, doing this from mobile as not at PC). There should be an option of "add more content". Then I. Search find sophisticated backpacks and install that, it should auto select the right version. Or download the one for 1.16.5 then move that file into your mods folder. Also, make sure it's the forge version (I'm not sure if they have a fabric version but if they do it won't work)

@@PixelPatience very early on, somewhere with a pokemon healer assuming you're not using /warp heal After that, anywhere that either spawns the pokemon you like or that you fancy building. The wiki can tell you which pokemon spawn where.
