is there a limit for how long your animations can be on procreate? like can I make a 10 minute animation?

Yes it’s limited by the ram of the iPad. 10 mins is not possible without editing smaller pieces together in an editing app

Instagram will compress whatever size. I’d recommend 1080x1080, 1080x1350 or 1080x1920 for reels.

Hi .. kind of dumb question i have here . Is it posible to import pic from another app and oberlay it ? I have in mind comic book that i want to make but some of pics from it i want to do suddle animations like rain in background and so on but i dont want to redraw hole pic . I dont know if u can understand me my english is not too good .. just import pic from galery and draw on it make animation on it

yep! you can import an image and use it as the background layer. then just animate on top.

Is there a reason you don’t use the layer “background color” for a background and create your own background?

No reason, just a habit because I often add more texture or illustrations to my background layer.

Why don’t you just duplicate all the levels instead of redraw all the shapes? It’ easier and more precise 😅

Like I mention in the video. You can totally do that. I chose to redraw it because its not that much slower and I didn’t want frames to look repeated. Imperfections breathe a bit of life into animation. More hand drawn and less computer-like.
