My experience from starting my own landscaping company in the last 3 months. I get home everyday after 8 pm. My day is a mixture of hardwork doing clean ups, landscaping etc. And driving around giving estimates. No days off I eat once a day usually when I get home becaus I don't have enough time and I'm always in a rush. But this week I made $3,050 dlrs profit. I used to make 12 dlrs an hour at a gas station. So that's my experience. If your thinking about doing it. Just do it. If you don't have experience work as a laborer for a Landscaping Company for 3 months. Learn as much as you can. How to install sprinklers, Repair irrigation, learn about plants, ask questions. That's how I started.

Had a picky customer when I first started, did everything I could to please her even though I made little profit, few months later I was sitting with my bank manager reviewing receivables to apply for operating line, the bank manager was surprised to see I was the one who did his mothers job, he said see loves you and if you can make her happy you must know what your doing.

Year 2 for me … today was that day … I got one client done and boom my “new/used” mower won’t turn over … fuel pump goes to crap. The only thing that keeps me from smashing is … well the fact that tomorrow hasn’t come so who knows what tomorrow will bring … I think to myself “ if I give up now , how will I ever see what tomorrow brings” Best wishes mate . I’m no Keith kalfas but I’m me and that’s real advice 👆🏻

Let me tell you either path you take will hurt, but I will rather take my own than someone else's, something lead you to where you are now and you will get that same feeling if you go back, take a deep breath and get yourself together its part of the process and beautiful once you get through it, its always hard but it gets easier along the way! Much blessings and don't give up brother! Most don't have the balls to even start!

Bro . listen up. i am a very sane person and wise.. But only because of the lord .. Well I do bathroom specifically tile work. ..and a couple months ago i literally had a mental breakdown in the customers house ...no fucking joke or exaggeration ...a fucking BREAK DOWN snapped ready to put gun in mouth no joke i was just done man. It was the single most embarrassing and painful thing ive ever experienced and i fucking sobbed like baby as i stood there and told them i know you don't give a fuck no one does as the customer was trying to cancel card payment because i was supposed to finish night before and so he paid and i just couldn't get it done i tried so hard to finsh it and i told him dude i am fucking literally poor and if you do that my family will lose our home i am out of time i was already on borrowed time.. He said oh ill just pay it again once yout done.... I said dude it dont work like that it will lock all my shit up and I'll never see that money after working my guys out for 24 days straight 12 hr days to avoid eviction and losing my truck. i Just couldn't handle anything else on my plate. My wife was sitting at home dying a shell of what she once was on oxygen 24-7 ( went from like keiths wife to a 90 yr old woman in 6 months at 37 yrs old) losing my house power bout to be disconnected only vehicle on verge of repo google suspended my business so calls just dam near stopped no social proof no website all gone one click. Years of work . gone. Try selling a 8k bathroom remodel with no website no google no proof . shit just compounded and piled up quick and no matter how much i prayed it was only getting worse. And then even worse. And then worse than that . it just wouldn't stop and i was trying so fucking hard to hold it together but i just couldn't anymore so i snapped . i left his house and i came home and lo and behold a huge fucking fight ensued between the whole household so that was the icing on the cake and i was going to actually do it. I mean actually do it. My life was in shambles and no matter what i did i just got shit on even worse. I sobbed for 4 hrs straight begging god to please answer me i truly was at the end of my rope this time and i saw no point in going on . i said god you gotta give me sign i absolutely need it . i felt god impress upon me to not do it . so i didn't. He didn't say anything else just dont do it. That next day i woke up and i was reading my notebook i write my dreams in and realized i dreamed about the night before 6 months back and completely forgot. I cried . i knew it was the sign. Then about a half hour later im talking to family membe and they proceeds to remind me they had told me about a dream they had months back that i forgot about .... And it was exactly what the fuck happened the night before . my hair on neck.stood up. I was literally speechless. How the fuck did i not remember EITHER of those things? Well i didn't... Because god already knew. Then that night i proceeded to land the single largest job ive ever had. 20 thousand dollars and my wifes health turned on a dime and while shes is still on o2 she much much better than she was. And my google business account just poof..... Appeared again. The moral of the story is that God is watching over you don't think hes not. He will not forsake you nor give you more than you can handle. If you were not meant to be running your business you WOULDN'T BE. Pray my friend. You will be ok i promise.

Thank you! I just quit my job and started my LLC all in the last month. Starting small and humble, and loving every bit of it. Dreaming of that new F-250 while rockin' out in my Ford F**king Ranger! lol :P Thank you for your tips and words of encouragement. There's been plenty of times lately where I'm driving and listening to your podcast, and I just start bawling. Growing pains. That's how I know I'm on the right path, because if it doesn't stir your soul, it's time to change direction. I'm a woman. I'm a sole member business owner. I'm the first in my family to ever do something like this. Time to break generational curses. Your video, "How to start a landscaping business with no startup money" is the little nudge I needed to make the move. I never doubted my skills, but I get hung up in the 'how'. Admin stuff scares me.. but I'd rather be a little scared and learn this stuff as I go then be a slave for the rest of my life.

Thanks for being honest! Humility teaches the path you need to travel. Listen to the voices in you’re head. Think, prepare, and learn to talk to yourself. Brainstorming by talking to yourself, “like you’re having a meeting with yourself” is crucial to the planning process. Eat your frog first every morning. Stay tough landscapers!!!

I'm still new. But I've developed new stresses I never thought existed..the money is unreal. I'm coming home so weak and sore but I get over that quick. But the new stresses are from within.. it's my self esteem making me think I didn't do a good job. I could back it up with maybe 100 customers that have been pleased, but I still get those thoughts. The next stress is I get overwhelmed with daily jobs..not my weekly schedule..but some jobs I just can't wait to get off of. Even after I realize I'm making $100/hour I still get the feeling like I have too much pn my plate. I'm working on it though.. I'm real aware of my mind....it'll be good soon.

@JardinFoto2 жыл бұрын
@@justinburgan4184 Sure. I run 2 Google ads which, if you spend enough time fine tuning them to your specific business and area, are very effective. My budget for that is €1 per day! And it works really well. I also have a fully functional website with a contact form - this is what my Google ads point to. I have a Facebook page for my business and I also take out a paid ad on a popular English speaking website (I live in France). My ad is one of only six paid ads and so it is really prominent. I pay €100 per month for that and get a minimum of 5 calls a week from it. I leave the ads running even when I can't take on any new customers so that I can keep details of leads in my CRM spreadsheet. Hope this helps.
