As I call Hector into my awareness I am hearing other birds squawking in the distance.
He lands close by and stares into the distance for a moment. Then he turns his head toward me.
Hector shares,
"Don't let the distractions, the noise, shift your focus.
You know what needs to be prioritized so just do it. It can be that simple.
Make the adjustments necessary to move with ease through this week.
Yes, there will be noise from others and possibly a lot of it.
That's OK. Others are free to speak as they wish.
You have the choice as to what to listen to and what to focus on.
That's your choice.
What you decide to take in as something of value and deserves your time and attention.
There will always be noise, even in the most peaceful landscape.
Can you decipher what is meant to be heard from what is a release?
That's the challenge and a skill developed over time.
Grant yourself permission to only truly hear and retain what is meant for you.
