IMO I think a lot of people "Can only see themselves in a relationship with a man" because thats the primary template we have been given our whole lives. @@kaylathompson2111 there's a newer definition in lgbt community (i'm not sure about normal dictionaries) where bisexuality is defined as "attraction to two or more genders" which opens it up to not be limited by the binary genders. @phoebeats2 жыл бұрын
they could also look into the polysexual label if they wanted because it's more of being attracted to "some not all" genders but also identifying as what makes one their most comfy is all that matters (i did a deep dive to figure out if i was bi or nah so that's why i'm saying all this unsolicited random stuff 😅)

I wanted to share a quote from a little book by Adam Eli (it's part of this mini-series called the pocket change collective) "When it comes to gender and sexuality, our society’s “normal” is defined by one cisgender man and one cisgender woman who experience opposite-sex attraction and live comfortably in their gender roles. If you deviate from any part of that norm, welcome and pull up a seat. In my book, you are queer!" I read this in an excerpt from the book, the title had caught my eye at my school's library so I looked it up. This quote just really helped me feel affirmed and queer enough, and also a reminder that our labels can be whatever we want them to be. There is nothing wrong with claiming a name, or not claiming a name, or just exploring it all.

I relate to the second-to-last secret. I'm in a straight, monogamous marriage, but I've known that I'm queer for a long time. I've been on a couple of gay dates that didn't end up working out, but I was also the shyest person ever at that time. Now, I'm in my mid-30s and have been with my husband for 10 years. I would never want to cheat on him, as I am monogamous and that is important to me. I understand this hesitation. It feels like such a big toll to have the conversation, to potentially give up years of a relationship, and on top of that, complicate matters with a child involver. it feels so much easier to just... ignore that one... itty bitty part of you. but it doesn't go away. it eats you up inside. it doesn't just become supressing that part of you, but your happiness, too. and i promise you, a child in the middle of an unhappy relationship with unhappy parents is worse off than a child with two freer, happier parents, even if seperated. this is your LIFE. you have so many years to go. don't spend them withering away. you deserve to live the way you dream of, and feel the feelings you've always wanted to bask in instead of hide. i wish you so much luck.

I tried BetterhHelp when I was in high school and going through a rough time trying to figure out if the girl I was head over heels for was into me. It was about a month and a half of talking to this “therapist” about things this girl said and did. Looking back, it couldn’t have been more obvious that she was totally into me but I was reading too much into it and the (girl) therapist kept telling me “I think that’s just what girls do and this doesn’t mean she likes you”. I’m still bitter to this day that I let the girl go because I really did put my everything into our relationship just to trust what this “therapist” said and lose her. Later on I confirmed she liked me a lot but it was too late at that point and I went through a long depressive stage and had no one to talk to (homophobic mom who said it wasn’t fair to *her* that I was depressed). I never told the girl why I never made an official move. Either way, I got closure seeing as she was so ready to move on. (I’m in a happy 2 year relationship now). Moral of the story, I’ll never use BetterHelp again. Ps. We’re both 23 and Shes now dating a 45+ year old man… and just had a kid 👀💀🤣

I found out I was bi at age 26 after nearly 4 years of marriage to a man. The reason why, 3 years later, I still haven't come out to him is a complicated one. The main factor is that I am in love with my best friend and I feel I need to work out that before coming out. I feel the pain of feeling like you're supressing a big part of yourself. I want to be with a woman and I'm admittedly unhappy in my marriage, but not because of anything my husband is doing wrong. I care about him and don't want to hurt him, even though I may not romantically love him anymore. Anyone in this position, take your time. It can be delicate and discussions and coming outs last forever. Therapy really helps. ❤

Thank you for mentioning that bisexual doesn't strictly mean "into men and women." I define my bisexuality as "attracted to multiple genders but gender is a factor." It's a distinction from pansexuality that feels much more honest to who I am, but because most people don't talk about it, the nuance gets lost.

For the person at 15:19 who has a homophobic bestie crush - I’ve been there. It was NOT fun. At all. My biggest advice is DON’T TELL HER, not until you feel confident enough in your queerness that whatever she says to you won’t hurt you. Well, I guess rejection and homophobia hurts no matter what, so don’t tell her unless you’re confident enough that what she says won’t destroy you and lead to struggles with coming out for the rest of your life. My homophobic bestie (I didn’t know she was homophobic at the time but I found out pretty quickly) was the first person I told, and it’s the biggest regret of my entire life. If/when you come out and/or tell anyone about your crush, make sure it’s safe to do so and the person is respectful, confidential if you want them to be, supportive, and loving. I hope things go better for you than they did for me. Best of luck! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💖

I've known I like women since I fell in love with a girl when I first went to secondary school, but I've questioned myself a lot and just sorta let it be and thought "if it happens it happens" but it just never did. Now I'm at the point where I'm sure I like women, but I've never dated or even kissed a woman. I really want to explore what my attraction to women is fully like and how it compared to my attraction to men (is it equal? Do I actually like women more, but have I just not realised because men give me more attention?). Issue is that I really don't want to just sleep around and all that, but I'm also sick of waiting and just want to date someone. But man do I find women much more intimidating than men. My attraction to men also seems to be different than for most women that like men, which makes things more confusing. conclusion: I'm a whole mess lmao

Felt this. I am panromantic so I can be in a romantic relationship with anyone, their gender is unimportant to me but I am also pretty sure I am graysexual cuz everyone I had a crush on so far....I never thought of them in a sexual way, the most I thought was a kiss. However, whenever I do think of s*x or have any bit of sexual attractive I always think of women. So does that make me panromantic graysexual but a bit leading on lesbian when I do experience sexual feelings??? So don't worry, I am a mess too :)

I was in a similar position up until recently. I was surrounded by friends who were all straight and as much as I love them they weren’t allowing me to explore myself. So I just bit the bullet and started going to gay bars on my own, went on tinder dates with women etc and as scary as it was it’s the best thing I ever did. I’m now dating a girl i really like and finally feel like myself. I still don’t know if I’m bisexual or lesbian but at the end of the day, labels don’t matter and you don’t have to have it all figured out, just as long as you’re happy!😊

Despite i never had a crush on girls, i do experienced dating girls. Weird right? Lmao. If you are wondering how it goes, the "relationships" that i once experienced were all cyber/internet type of relationship and if i could be more specific, they're the ones who asked me out first ( i sorta just say "yes" to it without any consideration yeah reckless much ). Me and my ex'es were minor/underage at that time so no "extreme" things we done or even meeting face to face like fly to each other state/countryーif i could be more specific about our relationship, it was a puppy love/on and off type of relationship, it's kinda serious but at the same it's not at all. Fast forward, we broke up, followed by losing contact as time goes by. There was no problem, fight, or such, just we fall out too quick. Yet, idk. Despite i'm currently identifying as lesbian/homosexual/non-binary/aromantic-asexual spectrum person ( idk how labels work, please bare with me ), not just my attraction to men questioned, but also, my attraction to women got questioned as well. I actually realized that i experience attraction to men the moment i get to know themーsome kind of we have to be friends first before we get into it. Maybe it's compulsory heterosexuality, maybe it's a bi-cycle. I guess i never know, but to let it all flow, and let it all happen if something like these would happen in the future instead of worry or thinking about it.

Mathew 19:12 Eunuchs that are born that way are transgender. Eunuchs made that way by others were molested and something inside of them blocks off a certain type of body but it doesn't happen to everyone that is abused. Those that CHOOSE to live like Eunuchs for THE SAKE OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN are bisexual people that choose partners of the same sex-characteristics but opposite in regards to gender. GENDER is determined in the brain and designated at birth and has nothing to do with sex characteristics. Notice, God PREFERS for people to be in LGBT relationships. You know rapture occurs right HERE on earth right? Malachi 4:2-3 It is when God's true people shine like the sun with the glory of the Lord right here on earth. Jesus comes back to rule. Some people will live forever. The rapture teaching inside the fake churches is mostly LIES. The new heaven and earth will be made here. Do you get it? The ones taken are NOT good. WW3 will bring down all government institutions and they are ALL corrupt. 1/3 of all people will die at least. I am Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6 and Acts 3:22-23 says it will come to pass that anyone that fails to listen to me will be utterly destroyed from among the people. Anyone that continues to teach the LIE of monetary tithing or sells anything at all using the gospel CHOOSES to DIE with the wicked. It's their choice. Same-sex marriage is NOT a sin. Mathew 19:12 says God PREFERS for people to be in LGBT relationships. Anyone that teaches it is a sin when it is not also CHOOSES to perish with the wicked. WORLD PEACE IS COMING! i really identified with the person that didn’t think they were gay enough to call themselves bi. i’ve experimented with labels a bit but with a small queer dating pool of mostly just my friends and not wanting to complicate things, i haven’t had much experience with women (or men for that matter bc high school in a pandemic) so i feel “not gay enough” a lot. i see myself dating men a lot more than women, but women are way easier to be close with than men. idk, it’s confusing. i don’t feel straight, but i’m not like super gay either? it’s just hard to figure out

But her parents must never know, at all costs! She’s so cute! Her parents are lovely and I’m sure they’re aware of such things, yet they are also obviously gonna love and accept her even if they were somehow accidentally exposed to photographic (emphasis on graphic) evidence. I suspect that as soon as they figured out what exactly they were looking at, they’d immediately switch it off, perhaps with a “whoops!” Nothing would be said about it out of respect, not shame.
