Chris Invests - Personal Finance Videos If the financial failure is due to lack of income then it is the husband, if financial failure is due to poor spending then it is the wife. Having said that it is still always the man's fault. Either he made the mistake, or he made a mistake choosing the woman. I don't personally believe this but we are in the cucked christian mind of dave ramsey who issues orders to "man up" while still being a subservient to his domineering wife and makes himself believe that the marriage is "equal".

Delegating specific duties but collaborating on finances and how they should be managed. My husband is our sole income and I manage the bills. That that's not what Dave is talking about. He has said many times on his show that one of the partners in a marriage could be responsible for doing the manual work of paying the bills. What's he has said is both people in the marriage should be responsible and handling the budget, knowing how much is going to what categories, agreeing with each other on how they're going to spend the money, etcetera. I think Dave's commentary here is good and pretty consistent with what he said in the past.

They agree on how to spend the money together. They go over the budget together. The husband largely makes the money with his job. The wife handles paying the actual bills, and runs the household. That sort of setup would be just fine with Dave. The problem that Dave has with the caller's situation at the moment is that the husband does not want to be involved in making the decisions about how to spend the money. He just wants an allowance. They should be both involved and how they spend their money. The wife can just write the checks or set up the direct deposit to pay the bills.

It would be super offensive if it was the husband calling in and he was calling the wife the baby, she needs to woman up (whatever that means), and he is her dad.
