This is so true. I had a person in my life who I called my spiritual mother. One day God told me she was not. There had been signs. When I first met her, her husband and neighbor were standing behind her talking about me. She said nothing to stop them. One day it happened. God confirmed it. I don’t know if God heard her saying some things about me or what. She called and I decided to call her back. She basically did everything you said. She pointed out everything from my past. She pointed out my shortcomings and imperfections and giggled about them. Whole time God has been showing me her character flaws and I said nothing. She even mentioned things that I wasn’t even saying about her. I was speaking in general but because folks won’t mind their business, they get in their feelings. This happens a-lot because I’m being monitored. As long as I do everything they want, never hit their mess and never challenge or disagree, I’m tolerated. As soon as I don’t, they’re throwing my past in my face. She kept saying something about the gift of the Holy Spirit keeping you from sinning but it didn’t stop her from monitoring or throwing my past in my face. Now what demon is that? It’s really hard finding genuine people when you’re called to something great. It even happens when I attend local churches. They’re all trying to dim my light. Then I get criticized for not going to their churches, giving tithes etc. This includes family and so called friends.
