Yes, this video is right on time. I'm just now coming to the realization that for the past 39 years of my life I have been letting my insecurities run my life instead of pursuing my dream. I'm now learning my worth and building my confidence to pursue my dreams so I can live the life God intended for me.

Wow…this is a life changing message for me. I am an introvert who happens to be the music worship leader at my church. 12 years later and I am still not comfortable standing/singing in front of a room full of people. I sometimes want to quit, but you just made me look at this from a completely different perspective. Look what we would have missed out on had Pastor Blake’s allowed his insecurities to abort his mission! This is some powerful teaching! May God continue to bless you and your family🙏🙂

Five ways insecurity hinders your destiny/progress: 1. When you don’t get a handle on your insecurities you will live a life of procrastination and indecision. 2. Insecurity will breed a fear of taking risks. 3. Insecurity always renders it difficult to build relationships. 4. Insecurity will cancel destiny because it will make you resistant to change. 5. Your insecurities are eroding your self confidence. Solution: Remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!

I struggle with this every single day and it has become a problem and it has held me back in life. My mother constantly criticized me and nothing was ever good enough for her. I was never affirmed and my father was absent which brought upon many other challenges in relationships. I'm 52 and I can't get her negative words out of my head. 😢 I have been putting in the work to fix this but it has been quite challenging and I have to put in the work every single day.

I grew up in a very verbally abusive household, with no father, and a mother who was very narcissistic and very judgmental and critical. She has said a lot of hurtful things to me over the years, and we have not spoken in almost 5 years. I used to be ashamed for feeling not worthy when good things came into my life whether it be material things or positive circumstances, leading to job, advancement or advancement in other areas of my life. I felt insecure on how to accept good things and appreciate them, but now I know that God wants me to have nice things, God wants me to be secure in my self through him and God also wants me to prosper so I’m able to help others. Pastor Blakes, your messages have been so profound and uplifting in my life and I am grateful for you and your lovely wife, Lisa. It’s funny because a lot of times what I’m thinking or not sure about, you’ll seem to answer that question for me at just the right time and confirm things for me that I wasn’t sure about. I’m so thankful that God led me to you. God bless you and Lady Lisa always. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

"It's not jealousy, it's a sadness for yourself", thank you, thank you, thank you Bro RC. You are literally the first person, I really mean the first and only person, I have ever heard say that in all my life. All my life while growing up, and into my adult life, all the people I looked up to, after telling me all the wonderful things so and so's daughter or mother or Aunt had done in their life, would then tell me to stop comparing myself to all these other wonderful people, and just be thankful with who or where or what I was or had, when I knew from the depths of my heart that there was something wrong with this message and with what my life was becoming, which was nothing resembling what my heart and soul desired.

Bishop, can you please speak on the subject of being secure and the problems it causes. Throughout my life I’ve had people tell me that I’m, “stuck up”, think too much of myself, etc.. I’ve had many females befriend me, as I thought, only to try and destroy me out of jealousy. I’ve had similar issues with males, including my ex husband..I’ve never been afraid to relocate, speak in public, talk with anyone, take on setting up businesses from scratch, take on challenges in a heartbeat, never been a procrastinator, yet, I am somewhat of a perfectionist, and I’ve been told this as well.

I don’t understand what I am supposed to do. Thank you for praying for me. I love public speaking, not shy about that. Not sure what I am doing wrong, Bishop. I’m just worried about day to day stuff and getting myself together so that I can present more publicly and sell my workshops, books and services. I can’t do it all alone, yet. I’m still trying to get my house clean & my homework done. I need help and mental health professionals don’t help with housework or as a personal assistant or carpenter so my plan is to make money to pay for help, but I haven’t been able to get out of this level of financial poverty, yet. I definitely struggle with insecurity, procrastination and indecision. Lack of consistent positive affirmations growing up. All resonates! Thank you. Thank God. Amen. 🙏🏼

I said to myself to watch your video when I left out to exercise but I seen it was so many people out so I decided to listen to music. I wanted to get in and out of others way. You got me laughing. Bisphop you are on point. My problem was I would do my best to be seen. Childhood abuse from everyone and in relationships made me work hard and do my best to feel accepted other. One insecurity I struggle with is when I speak. People always assume that I act like I'm better than others. When that is clearly not what I do or who I am. If they only knew my background and how I even became to use my voice they would understand. Oh but when I speak in a community setting for the residents it's different. They like me then. I don't have time to be telling my life story to every one I meet so they understand me. People mistake my kindness for weakness and hurting themselves disrespecting me. This is why I enjoy my alone time. People today be doing too much and I don't have time or the patience for drama. I see too much in people, their eyes, to be wanting them around me. I'm enough for me right now.😂
