I was there two weeks before the flooding and the place leaves you with a lack of words to describe how wonderful it is. The tour of the house, walking the garden, the view from the back porch, the vanilla ice cream, the restaurants, and just the huge expanse are something you definitely want to visit. Praying for the people in that part of North Carolina, a beautiful area of our country, for a quick recovery. They need visitors so add it to your plans.
