Daniel or a lawn? Lol, I am just watching it and all of the sadden Albert Einstein came to my mind. On its own Dan is a crazy scientist in the lawn care industry.

I just envisioned your silver days as a school bus driver, giving students all kind of crazy lawn stories. 😂😂 Btw, I hope you don’t mind me starting a petition to have Austin give you a sterling as a thank you for all the screen time. It’s a match made in heaven that must go on!

Thanks for your videos Daniel! This summer has been pretty rainy here in Sweden, I wonder how you are able to mow lawns frequently enough during rainy periods. I guess it is more forgiving with short grass.

Hi Daniel, I have two very small lawns at front and back of house. The front one does not get much sun only up until 13:00 in the day, back one is the very opposite sun all day. Both were turf laid about 8 years ago and got in a bit of a mess. I have manages to sort the back lawn to some degree and is work in progress but the front one I tried to revive buy scarifying, top dressing and re-seeding, been about two weeks now and what a mess, bauld patches everywhere. I was wondering if it's down to not being covered with the fleece you use. Could you please advise and let me know how to source the fleece if needed. Any adviv3 would be greatly appreciated 👍

Is a dwarf rye preferable to a normal rye? I like close cut, so would a dwarf rye suit me better?

Hi Dan great video as always I cut my lawn every two days with an old Ransoms Certes 14 inch 10 blade cylinder push mower and your advice about cutting little and often is true because my Bent, Fescue and a little dwarf Rye extreme is nice and dense, although I do have to verticut lightly every two weeks. My question is about Poa Annua if I keep pulling the seed heads out by hand will the plant eventually die.
@DanielHibbertLawnExpert2 жыл бұрын
Plant lasts a year then dies but obs leaves loads of seeds

Had no idea no dwarf rye has different cutting height and scarifying approach to full rye
@xabi14172 жыл бұрын
Is there a lock on that height adjustment gauge? If not it will be interesting to see, even in the not to distant future, how the system holds up to regular use and the vibration that comes with it

I have the same spreader and setting 4.5 seems to be fine for 2 passes to give a total of 30gsm with Equilibrium, not sure if Equinox HD granules are a similar size?
@roberthamilton23342 жыл бұрын
My spreader is same as Dan's and your own, I find if you lightly dust the garden with water spray you can see wheel tracks easier on grass avoiding missed patches.

@roger48802 жыл бұрын
@@roberthamilton2334 Not sure about that, granules sticking to the leaf isn't a great idea, unless you are watering straight after the app?

What happens if I was to accidentally cause a few (loads) of those orange dots on the patio?!? - any way of getting rid before the Mrs has me bumped off?
@Limosical2 жыл бұрын
Soak it in white vinegar, leave it 15 minutes, give it a scrub in a small circular pattern, rinse and repeat until gone. Once finished make sure you rinse all the excess white vinegar off
@dw3002 жыл бұрын
Go to your local building supplies place and obtain an amount and style of paving similar to your current patio. Contact a landscaper and pay him in advance to put down the new paving. Your old stained paving will need to be lifted first, but that's fine as it'll make it easier for your wife to bury you under the new one! I jest of course. Hope you get sorted! xD

On our terrace I was quite successful removing rust stains with one of these white dirt remover magic sponges that disintegrate while using it. I think these are made from Melamine.

If you advocated planting bent grass you’d be out of a Job, hence the rye grass that demands constant work, you haven’t your customers interests at heart at all, just your will to screw money out of them

I’m gradually unsubscribing form you so called ‘experts’ the money spinning formula of planting rye grass, scarifying, reseeding each and every year is very tiresome, you guys know where the money is at, and it’s in rye grass!
