Keep up the great videos. Thanks for showing people the basic Rivers. And not showing everyone our special little coastals that we have with our late runs. Appreciate it. Keep up the good work

Again, well done bro! The section you are fishing around the 8 minute mark is a sweet spot. I’ve hooked a lot of fish there lately, just haven’t been doing fishing vids lately. And I’d have to agree, the clack is where it’s at right now. The sandy has definitely died down. Lots of natives and down run summers. I’m gearing up for salmon, probably not gonna be doing too much more winter steelhead. Go get em bro! 🎣

That's the first time I've fished that spot man it seemed right! That's awesome your hooking fish still. Most people arent and yeah I might be doing springers real soon too!

Don't beat yourself up man, fishing has been tough in many places. I caught a 15 LB buck on my first trip in January. The thing slipped out of my hands before I could get a good picture. Got the whole episode on video, except a clear shot of the fish. It was the last fish I landed this season here in CA. This sport will drive us all crazy. I bet, next season will be one of the years, we can hope anyway!

You're right man I shouldn't beat myself up I'm trying not to I went out again today no luck I can't believe it slipped out of your hands haha that would get to me we bonked a fish once and that fish didn't die and flopped out of my buddies hand and almost went away after it was bonked but he caught it

Was fishing next to you at Bonnie Lure on the Sunday this was filmed. Been checking out your channel to see if you happened to capture me with the drone, but doesn't look like it. I didn't have any luck that day either, but it's always fun trying. I'll be sure to say hi next time I see you on the water. Tight lines!

Been a long time since i have fished the clack in the winter time when the water is up. Curious where you think the best spot to go as far as bank access is. Like if i wanted to spend the day on the river without a bunch of driving. I am in the portland area.

Luke Morter I typically don’t like to give up that info but what I can tell you is go on google maps and look for walking speed water ! With riffle

@@FishingTheOdds fished the old bowling alley hole yesterday which i guess is now the walgreens hole. And high rocks for a bit. No success but good to be out on the water. Saw a few other guys putting in some work also.

Dude, instead of blowing your time and money on these sub par rivers, why don't you take a road trip up to the Ho or one of the other great rivers they have in WA?
@FishingTheOdds5 жыл бұрын
I'd love to but my job is very demanding and takes up a lot of my time I would have to take time off of work essentially and when I do that I go to the coast but I just might next year
