One of the reasons we started this channel is to help and encourage Christian marriages around the world to know that our marriages are our ministry and the first place that we practice the things the Bible teaches us and commands is in our marriage toward our spouse and our children. Our heart for this is to recognize how when our marriage ministry is thriving then it will make our ministry outside the home more effective.
Do you recognize your role in your marriage as a ministry? Being a husband, being a wife. In the episode, we hope you are encouraged to thrive in the ministry God has given you, which is your marriage. We as Christians walk in this way treating our marriages as the ministries that they actually are then the world we see what God intended them to see, good fruit.

I've been married for 5years. My husband has always put his church Ministry first. We have a 4yo and 1yo and I'm pregnant with twins and my husband still chooses to be a armor bearer for our Pastors. I'm mad and him and my Pastors because I need his help but I'm always put to the side while he serves them. I tell my husband who is a minister, how I feel and he does what he wants. I'm so sad and I feel neglected. I'm praying that God will change the situation.

This is foul and your husband is not in good standing in the sense that he is not governing his home and wife well. God surely comes first to everyone and His first order is the covenant union of holy matrimony between a man and woman as legal husband and wife where the 2 become 1 flesh before God's Almighty Throne. Charity and other work and associations, evenThe Great Commission comes after the marriage union... and any man who plays up to other men too much as people pleasers are living a double life and lacking something inside mentally and emotionally. Men who are codependent towards other men or more lenient, comfortable and interested in them of their own gender are possibly sexist and/or chauvinistic let us not imagine worse but this is absolutely a very very unGodly unhealthy, imbalanced and toxic disposition to have that could never please The Lord. Those who do not take care of their own families are worse than an infidel unto God and that is not just in a monetary sense but in every way a man should cover the wife. We Kingdom women were created as a special gift to our men. Woe to those who devalue or despise us as the wonder gifts and virtuous blessing that we are to them. We are the key to their salvation, sanctification and good favour. Virtuous wives and those in preparation never give up. God first and then each other as husband and wife no doubt. Give Thanks and plead The Blood and stay Armoured up because there are many little foxes and devils trying to infiltrate and destroy and set our marriages asunder because they are God's design. Pray together and stay together in gratitude and prosper. HALLELUJAH 👑 AMEN

If it wasn't for my wife I wouldn't be where I'm at. It took her about three years to get me to go to church. I haven't stopped and I now know more about the Bible than I ever did. My wife is a true Godsend. Until now I never thought of my marriage as a ministry.

My wife and I did it the way of the world and went to signature panel of divorce papers final day. We both walked out of courthouse and got into the word of God and did marriage according to his word. Almost 6 years since the court house without so much as an argument. It’s definitely putting God first then our first ministry is our spouse and the fruit from it is our children witnessing a healthy God fearing relationship. My Daughters and Son will grow up knowing what a healthy relationship looks like. It starts with putting Jesus first then each other. I've never seen my marriage as a ministry before.. thank you both for addressing this. Often the most problems arise when you don't tend and nourish your marriage and focus on other things. The best advice I've gotten is "the best way to raise well rounded Christ loving children is to maintain your marriage through love with God always in it and your children will see that."

Going thru a really hard time. I’m trying to do what the Lord would do in my situation! After all, it’s easy to love someone who is loving you! But, what about when their not! Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men... Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Rom 12:17-18, My husband literally walked out on me and our children for 5 days! Exactly we need to live out what the Bible says, my husband was just saying yesterday how God's word never changes it's the same yesterday and today. This was really hard to hear...not because I don’t believe in it, but because I feel neglected spiritually and emotionally by my husband who puts church and his service in music ministry FIRST. He is emotionally unavailable and defensive, I feel so unloved and uncherished by him. I started singing with the church and encouraged him to use his gifts. His family was in church leadership, a lot of nepotism, which resulted in church hurt for me and stunting my spiritual growth. I left the church but my husband said I need to deal with my own issues, as advised by his family, and does his own thing regardless of how I feel or if I am alone. I started going alone to another church, but it wasn’t until I decided to give in to what he wants to have unity with my family, but I feel like he always gets his way. I’m frustrated and feel so invisible to him. No emotional or spiritual connection. He hates reading the Bible or talking about anything spiritual. Feel like everyone else has a great Christian husband and mine just treats me like I don’t matter to him. He’s incredibly selfish and his behavior starts to become emotionally abusive when he gets angry. I find myself wanting to leave for good. I deserve to be loved and cherished.

I am a minister of music and invisible to my wife who is called into ministry by God; according to her. There are days she doesn’t even speak to me. She leaves the house without saying a word. The only time she talks to me is by preaching to and trying to correct me. I sleep in the basement for spiritual peace. Around her I feel lonely, sad, defeated, hopeless, useless, depressed, valueless and broken.
