During my college days , I remember, when I had the first encounter of someone touching my ass in an overcrowded bus, I was just 17 fresh out of school. I don't know, why but it felt so disgusting...later I had felt very demeaning about myself....it took me almost 5 to 8 years to come out of that rabbit hole...and regain my self esteem.... hardest part was ....I could not share it with anyone...not even my mum or sister.... I have tried and still continue trying my level best to give that space to my daughters where they can come home and unload their trauma....I regularly sit with them and discuss my own shortcomings, as a kid and teen and encourage them to share their own things also in the process tell them ...

How does one manage if its not society’s common definition ( which of course is relative) It will be good hear Neha’s understanding experience on it 2. A lot of people always ask me - Why therapy ., I don’t have a real issue like anxiety or panic attack . I loved her articulation of It’s growth mindset. I feel the background music in the intro is overly dramatic and distracting. If the goal is to help the audience understand the topic or issue being discussed, it would be better to use simpler, more neutral music, rather than something that feels like breaking news on TV. Solution according to me 1 Don't supress anything otherwise it will blast off 2 we need gender neutral laws because many loyal men get suffered and exploited because of it. 3 law should be made for letting sex hapens in a controlled way not to bully some one 4 taboo should be removed from sex 5 provisions should be made for couples legally and they should be given freedom 6 law should teach a lesson to people beyond gender 7 law should first understand that people have needs and look that how that needs could be met in an correct way instead of just making laws blindly or suppressing people

Thank you Ranveer! It was absolutely needed for the world! We would appreciate more of taboo toppics and also talking about how concretely processing these traumas and when do we know that it's done. This nonsense of a rape case being closed after 10 years like it never happened and being unpresentable to justice, for example, is a clear sign that people think time erases these things. Also talking more about hypersexuality as a contradictory response to fear of the partners. Also I would appreciate explanation about total lack of understanding of the dept of the trauma inflicted by the doer him/herself and is it because of them never being experiencing these type of violence themselves. Can't emphasize enough on the importance of this topic. Being a surviver myself, for years I dealt with intimacy issues to an extent where vaginal walls would spasm even if I'd try to stimulate myself. I started healing myself, affirmations, Reiki, Therapy and what not brought me peace and ease. As a matter of fact, the trauma I suffered at 6-7 years old, my mother happened slap me to shut me up. Asked me to not share with anyone. Cut to - 21 years, developed hearing disabilities ( same ear got slapped across at that young age). That is what triggered the healing journey. That said, I do not blame my mother, she did the best she knew understood. All I can say is body is indeed keeping a count

I think more people should watch this video, well explained for both genders. Many people dont know how to react or empathize with someone who is going through such things so this video can be helpful to them.

Ranveer, The podcast was amazing but the thumbnail should be different. It deals with much more intense psychotherapy than just casual sex. Thanks the the amazing podcast anyway

We need to have more podcasts like this. Kudos to both of you. This is like making people aware of the definition of abuse. Indian society needs to talk about subjects like these more often. Awesome conversation .

Thank you for this episode, try to cover overall psychology I mean men's psychology in all aspects of life, women's psychology in all aspects of life and child's psychology in all aspects of life, I believe psychology is a universal subject where everyone should know some basic psychology so people can understand what it is and when they should take help, there are many people who are suffering silently, there are many people who realised very late that they are in depression, I realised that I am in depression since 2022 only in 2024. People who are suffering silently, people who realised very late that you are in depression, you are not alone. Good job Ranveer! Thank you

It's really so good to hear it out cuz I have faced some of them below 10 that is still staying in some part of my life which is triggering some issues and main part was I can't share them with my family and also not finding any solution so my basic thought was let it be aside or forget it, but through this podcast I feel like should be finding a solution to it and fix it. Thank you so much bhai for taking this concept.

Thank you for this episode. This has been so validating for what i had felt over the years and what i sometimes feel still.... It has been difficult to process if i was overthinking things or if these issues are worth asking for help or if i have really moved on as much i have believed i had....how much of it was my fault and what i could have done to avoid those mishaps entirely. The self blame and guilt and the triggers that affect me still... It has been eye opening and extremely helpful.

The day you are comfortable to accept and identify the sexual abuse we went through during childhood and realise how common it is , we can make changes to society for future generation. When the stats say more than 50% boys in India gets abused, and you feel it didn't happen to you either you are extremely lucky or you need to get a reality check with yourself.

Huge applause for bringing this topic at this particular period where so much social cause had affected everyone's personal life.... Am happy that it's told that being violent is not at all normal for both.... I really liked the aspect that if we can't get over our pasts' scars, we can reform ourlseves in a higher form that's evolving ourselves... Lots of takeaway from this episode.... 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Even though the old aunt example was from a male standpoint, I could relate to it so hard that I went back and watched it 5 times to validate the fact that just like the guy, I've been denying my whole life that it was a rape. I can feel the knot in my chest release a lot of shame. I can't thank you enough Ranveer for making this podcast happen! May God bless you!❤
