Ooh! I actually run this commander! Look into Curse of Misfortunes; it's a curse that tutors for another curse every round. Definitely the Golden Pig in my version of this deck!

I am playing a Lynde deck and highly recommend to put in some permanent sac outlets like Dreamshaper Shaman (enchantment creature, btw) and Claws of Gix. Also, having a Paradox Haze on the field is very helpful. I recommend to replace as many instants and sorceries with enchantments. Draw with Omen of the Sea, for example. And my very special recommendation: put in Trickster God's Heist! Giving somebody control over a curse that has no advantage for the controller and getting a free enchantment in return is amazing. Even if the curse gets destroyed under another player's control, Lynde will trigger, so there is no disadvantage at all.

I had this deck built with all the grixis curses and even preordered the new one. Ita a fun and chaotic deck. I like this budget version but if someone's really looking to spend just a little bit extra that won't blow the wallet out then I suggest Curse of Misfortunes and Paradox Haze. Curae yourself and Haze yourself and now you're tutoring 2 curses and drawing 4 cards before your turn really starts. Misfortunes is floating under $4, which I suggest is a must, and Paradox Haze around $11 depending on if you get The List or Time Spiral version. You don't need Paradox but it's a worthwhile investment. I look forward to Mitch playing the deck but ita definitely fun to play. Ive also built Ghen and I dont really feel the difference between White and Blue all that much. If you really want a sweet little tech Nekusar, the Mindrazer is about $5.50 and is a nice little add especially when you curse yourself with Surveillance, just watch as you mill out your opponents and they die from the nekusar ping.

What about adding some of the cards I have seen in your Pramikon deck so that if you happen to have to many curses on you, you can move more than 1 away per turn or maybe something like Paradox Haze so you can have two upkeeps to get rid of more curses?

i like the idea of chucking in the few 3 drop monarch cards, so you give yoruself monarch to start with, someone attacks you and takes it, then the fun begins with everyone fighting over the throne. whoever has monarch is who you put youe curses on

I went 5 colors with Jodah at the head. "Secret" lynde as a co commander along side zur, ghen, and hanna. Played it last night and it was a lot stronger than anyone in my playgroup expected.

Two easy upgrades may be $10ish for Paradox Haze for double upkeep, and therefore double curse moves, and $3 for Curse of Misfortunes which you could attach to yourself as a each turn tutor effect.

You can use spells with exchange control of permanents, to swap your curses for their cards. Though they with 99% chance cannot reattach curse and though after being destroyed it will still go to your graveyard - it's like stealing their permanents for a cheaper cost xd

Court of Vantress seems kinda nutty in the deck. Make copies of an enchantment as long as you remain the monarch. Double up curse effects or spread them around to everyone, and since they're tokens I'm pretty sure they wouldn't all bounce back on you when they're destroyed

Quick question here! I've watched a couple Lynde deck tecks and I was wondering why no one runs surveil? Checking the top card(s) and then if you find an enchantment, throwing that thing on yourself. Sounds pretty cool vs the traditional discard cards people would use to get enchantments onto themselves.

Dreamshaper Shaman is another good choice for getting rid of curses on you, using unnecessary cards, plus puts out more curses/creatures without having to pay for them. Also, Forgeborn Oread is a nice bit of targeted damage that triggers on constellation.

certain curses are actually pretty good on yourself. curse of the restless dead is more or less just budget field of the dead. curse of unbinding, bloody tome, and fraying sanity are all good in mill strategies like muldrotha, and some are technically better on opponents, but not completely terrible on yourself, like curse of verbosity or curse of bounty.

Isn’t there a curse that can attach additional curses onto the cursed player from your deck? Why wasn’t that mentioned? I would even consider that a candidate for the Golden Pig too as you can attach it to yourself and then fling away any of the curses getting attached to you. EDIT: Okay, I just looked it up and saw that it was a few bucks so I see why now. There’s also a few more curses that are rather up there in price that weren’t included here either. The rather expensive ones are the ones that work well in a lot of decks in general (Opulence being the big one).

Some other good cards similar to Slaughter Priest of Morgis are Tavern Scoundrel, Blood Aspirant, and Claws of Gix. They're all pretty cheap cards that fill a similar niche. Barrin Master Wizard and Infernal Tribute are also very strong additions, but do end up costing more. Finally, Dreamshaper Shaman is an interesting addition. While sacrificing a curse on your end step means you have to spend one entire round with it on, it also lets you cheat out random permanents.

Blim doesn't work that way. The target and the controller are two different things. When you cast a Curse, it becomes attached to target player, but is owned and controlled by you. If you give away a curse attached to you with Blim, the opponent gains control of it, but it remains attached to you. It's the same as giving away an Aura. If you cast Pacifism on a creature, then give away Pacifism, nothing happens. The opponent can now sacrifice it if they have the appropriate outlet and it counts towards the amount of enchantments they control, but it still enchants the same creature and has the same effect.

You can make copies of Lynde so you can move more curses. Blue has lots of ways to copy creatures, but the colorless equipment Helm of the Host is my favorite.

Rules lawyer question: If you were to use Mirrormade to copy a curse and it were to be destroyed, would this proc the commander ability to have it return to the battlefield?

Yes, if it was a copy of a curse as it hit the graveyard lynde see that and brings it back. Side-note if curse of leeches is on its creature side and it goes to the graveyard lynde would not see it as a curse so it would not be bright back.

These are leaves-the-battlefield abilities, abilities that trigger when a card leaves a graveyard, and abilities that trigger when an object that all players can see is put into a hand or library. When it leaves the field if it was a curse lynde sees it as a curse.

Only one problem. Almost all the cards listed have a high casting cost , this rediculously low power deck compared to what is usually played in edh. Maybe power-level 5-6 above precon. BUT you are playing 3 colors, which means mana base is either very expensive or slows you down even further .. So either you have amazing mana-base AND ramp or you just never going to play those high cost curses.
