Most of the Indians faced this. To the guy who wrote the email to bharath: Please do not feel that you are selfish. It's completely about the mentality most of the Indians have. Just fly... to achieve your dream. There will be a day that your parents will proud of you. I can tell this with my full voice, as I made that decision years ago being as an Indian unmarried woman by then.. and now I am still living happily with no regrets.

After 8 years of experience you would probably be touching 30. And after your masters you would be 32+, and If you see the stats of Indian students many are depressed/sad when they don't find the right partner at a later age. So your parents are not completely wrong. Independence and all is important but you know what there is no replacement for parents in this world. Maybe I am wrong but this is Indian culture where parents and kids are not separated as soon as they become 18. It's not that kids don't grow up or can't make decisions. It's the love and respect that make us asking for advice from parents lifelong, even when it's actually not required

@ajinkyamehere53655 жыл бұрын
No. Because you'd never have excess money. The reason is you would have money sufficient only for 1 year in your blocked account. For the next year, you would have to make savings from the part time job. If you send that money home, you would have to again ask for money for the second year from your parents. Also, it won't be possible for you to do the part time job all the permitted time (e.g. during exam months) as that would reflect badly on your studies, which is the reason why you're there, not for the part-time job. Now, if you continue to do the part-time job in the second year of your studies as well, you can save a certain surplus (not your whole earnings) and send them home once in a while, as by then you'd already have savings from your first year. Hope this answers your question fully.

Please make this video in hindi as well. I want to share this with everyone possible who are against the idea of sending their children abroad for education including mine. It will be of great help. Thanks!

No country is perfect,India is full of opportunities compared to other south asian countries.talented students can definitely sattle in a quite standard societies in India if i'm not wrong.I've never been to india but I was wondering why Indians prefer other countries?(of course you have the right to move wherever you want) Best wishes!

Hey bharat you have said the right thing. This type of mentality of parents to their children should need to be changed. Otherwise they will not get a good life as they wish.

They'll probably worried that their child won't come back....but I agree with your thoughts
