So recently the first instance of this happened for the first time in years for me in Scarlet and Violet with GT and IT Paradox mons and let me just say that was a NASTY SURPRISE and I was so luckky I had just save because on each game I was in the middle of new unexplored Territory up in the Glassadeo Mountain area and was actually out of all healing items from auto healing and had like the worst unprepared team. Thank Arceus above for the implementation of the PC Box Link ever since LGP and LGE. At least now I know that there's no level cap ONLY for Terra Raid Battles. Also that I could remind the two mammoths Sunny Day and Electric Terrain and Earthquake. Now THAT is fun.

Me after spending three hours running through tall grass, Swords Dance, False Swipe, Paralysis/Sleep statusing a stupid mid game single stage Pokémon with mediocre stats and a catch rate of what has to be well over 50% and having wasted 20+ Pokéballs and 30+ Great balls and 20+ Ultraballs: THEN DIE B@#$&! "sends the overleveled starter and uses the Generations battle gimmick to nuke it." Needless to say, I hate Castform. It did this kinda s@#$ to my in both Sun and Ultra Sun. After I caught them for my dex I released them instantly and proceeded to not play for 3 days each time. In the words of Sir Quinton Trembly III "It's less than worthless my boy."
