Hello Alex. Yes, do this Q&A again. Just discovered your channel, and it's been a real pleasure to watch. A quick Q...I'm in the U.S. and on the hunt for a Yamaha SBV bass and so far, only see ones sold in Japan, any advice on buying from sellers there? Have you ever brought back one on any of your trips to Japan?

I've had good results from clamping a very bowed neck in the direction you want, over bending it even, leaving it for a solid few weeks, sometimes blowing some very light heat on it with an air gun while clamped...

forgot to mention also adjusting the truss rod while neck is clamped in desired direction..

Your Q&A is a great idea, and yes, you definitely should continue doing it. Here's a question for you on Gibson vintage guitars. If someone has repainted a vintage Les Paul gold top - in other words, painted over the original gold top - do you recommend leaving it as is or taking it to a reputable shop to be restored back to original? Great video Alex. Question, have you ever dealt with or come across a 1983 Gibson "Spotlight Special" Les Paul? I own one and I'm just curious to know how many are still out there and what they are selling for. I will never sell mine because I willed it to my son but again I'm just curios. Thanks man.

Reverb is the worst place to value gear . Highly overpriced and too many people who think that changing the pickups adds value when the exact opposite is true...if you change 1 peice of a guitar....you lower the value, you can't polish a turd and ask 3 times the price!

Ignore the asking price - most things sell for offers. That's why my dude suggested you look at the sold price - that's what people are willing to pay, so that's what a thing is worth.
