I shampoo and deep condition my hair every 4 days....seems like a lot, but it made a HUGE difference in health and growth. I only flat iron my hair 3-4x a year. Use a blow dryer on medium heat to straighten my new growth. And I relax every 10-12 weeks. Currently mid back length

Thank you because some stylist don't inform you or teach you how to care for your hair at home. This was helpful!!

My semi-permanent color, which is Clairol Advanced Gray Solution, does show up. It has no ammonia and no peroxide. As far as trimming. I trim my hair whenever I relax my hair. Now, I relax my hair every three months, not 4. The neutralizer, which comes with my relaxer, I use, because I know that it replaces the PH balance. I use a silk scarf and I condition my hair, all the time. I have a hood dryer, so I use the hood dryer, with a plastic cap and a great conditioner. Because I am not into so much long hair (I use a wig for that) I wear my hair short, so I can fix it and go. You give a lot of good tips and I am pretty conscious of how I am treating my hair. Also, please add that what you eat also makes a difference in the condition of your hair. Thanks.

My relaxers dont last the longest, I workout 5-6 days a week. The salt from the sweat breaks my hair even faster so I started washing my hair once a week as opposed to 2-3 weeks I used to do(which it was breaking soo much the less I wash it) I wrap it nightly drink a lot of water and take hair, skin, nails vitamins. Im learning to get out of the "washing hair often is bad for black girls" phase that i grew up in lol

I truly enjoy your informative videos. I've been relaxed since March or May 2021. I was natural for 15 yrs after doing about 3 big chops. My maintenance is so much better with relaxed hair. I'm only doing touch ups twice a year.

I love your hair. Your hair is so pretty. What size rollers did you use to get the curls you have in your hair? How do you sleep on these curls in order to maintain curls the next day? Thank you for all the awesome information.

Gosh you make me want to cut my hair like that again😎. That hair length is the best. I washed, wrapped, sat under the hair dryer and was out the door. If i wanted bounce I added about four to six roller in the front and middle. 🤗🤗

I apologize I have this crazy phone that does it own thing sometimes but as I was saying I recently realized my relaxed hair is damaged. For starters I never used a heat proctecant or moisturizer because I just didn't know to do that. I've always had a professional beautcian do my hair and never on my own. After praying about it God helped me. I started researching, viewing videos on haircare I have educated myself. I still have to see a professional for touch ups but I'm managing my hair on my own to get it healthy again. It's been 2 months and I have very little breakage. My hair is looking and feeling better. So I thank you so very much for sharing your information and may God continue to bless you and He will because you are doing unto others what you would like to have done to you. God bless you.

I've gone to professionals that have put the relaxer on my entire head. It was so depressing because the reason that I sat in their chair is because they were professionals. My hair comes out by the ✋ full. "Help"

I notice if I don’t use heat I never need a trim. You only need a trim if you have breakage and spilt ends or want a blunt cut to your hair. I have no problem with my hair growing out in its natural shape. Ladies if you take care of your hair you won’t have to trim it. Just stunts the growth. If you aren’t taking care of your hair then you will need trims
