Another fantastic entry. Historically, royal guards were allowed to stand watch in the king or lords chamber while they slept if they were ordered or given permission, so there would be no problem with the royal knight being called from her post to stand watch in the king's presence while he slept. And whatever they did WHILE she was standing watch would be...well...between them. ;) But I could ramble on about medieval history forever. Beautiful work as always. ^^

Hey, wholesome, I had an idea for part 4 of this series if your interested. "Your royal knight brings you back from the tavern." The royal knight receives a report that the prince is intoxicated at the tavern and its her job to get him back to the castle. And once he's back in his room, right before he falls asleep, he tells the knight that he talked to his mother about marrying the royal knight and she(mother, queen) has given her blessings for both of them.

This reminds me of that one story with a queen and her wizards. She was in love with the brother wizard and they married. However he was so flustered and kept trying to give her space but she was having none of it lol. He kept going to his brother to confide in things like “Help!
