Go watch the YT channel “snaps” which is a QB showing the film and going over each play that JA and Hawkins made. You’ll find that both of them were making wrong check down decisions, and the real main issue with OU is the horrendous OL, blocking the wrong guys, getting beat, terrible form etc. The whole offense was screwing up. Probably most to blame is the coaching. Maybe Hawkins is better with that OL, but expect more pain even with him until your whole offense gets a facelift.
