When she says misogynist what she actually means is viewing or depicting the female form as sexual...the thing is, this is only misogynistic in feminist theory. If you aren't a feminist or perhaps are but subscribe to a less popular and extreme interpretation of how male sexuality affects women...her entire argument basically falls apart. Fetishy stuff can seem alittle deluded, alittle creepy and even alittle headache inducing if you don't come equipped with the right set of fetish goggles, require something more/less tasteful or maybe just aren't in the mood. But just cause someones porn is pretty outthere doesn't necessarily equate to treating real live women like they are less than people. I drown and starve Sims, doesn't mean I'm going to drown and starve a real person or that I wouldn't find watching someone else die disturbing. Yes there are men out there, that do think women just exist to be their eye candy/concubine but that's not something they learned from porn. Some people just have zero empathy and or tact and or are too self-absorbed to realize when someone has a life of their own. These people are adults no one taught them to be entitled if anything it's the opposite...someone never taught them to have empathy or tact. It's not that society taught them something bad it's that their parents didn't teach them anything good.

But I'm not entirely sure it's possible to turn off empathy at will. A "pay taxes" thing is in the DLC for The Witcher 3 if you make enough money, and I know there's a Morrowind mod that has you pay taxes and so on. It's not necessarily a terrible concept to work into a game and works in RPGs especially. However, I love their logic. In the vanilla version of Skyrim, you can decapitate people, light them on fire, slit their throats, rob them blind, get into fistfights, go drinking and having a nutty night you can't remember because of a Daedric Prince, mind control people with magic dragon speech, etc. But showing BOOBS and SEX? HOW DARE THOSE MODDERS.

Neomi S it's true.. being a gamer is not a qualifying standard simply because it's too broad. Anyone can be a gamer but have totally different morals or personal tastes. On that note my wife is the one that wanted to download "NSFW" mods (the more classy ones if you want to say that) she didn't like how the women look like a man while wearing armor so I made a realistic bodyslide for CBBE with no nudity and downloaded the armors she likes. She thinks some of them are absurd though, but that's her opinion. I think it's funny how people assume women don't enjoy either playing or looking at "attractive" characters. I'm not one to be attracted in the common sense of the word, I just enjoy good art personally haha

I must say that the fantasy also can go a very eye-opening way, maybe this is the right place to tell about that, SJW pls read this: When experimenting with some Loverslab mods, it CAN go a very rude way with women (that being said, the mods usually dont halt for male characters). And so I once had a combination of mods installed which, by their interaction, one day made me "first-hand" experience the fate of a drug-addicted rape victim that completely lost control of her life! Forced by npc abusers into drug addiction, my character bought skooma without my control whenever a merchant had it, spending all Gold, and automatically consumed it whenever she needed a shot. At first I did not even notice that! The Realistic Needs mod was then interacting, when the addiction went on, and constantly kept me hungry, thirsty and sleepless, which when bad enough severly influences the game experience. All went downhill into suffering until I could not safely do much anymore, and I decided to hide in the Abandoned Shack, got rid of everything, and live through a cold withdrawal, which was an unexpectedly long and painful process! I love my little Skyrim character and this was really emotionally intense for me. I'll never forget this and I see RL-addicts different now. Thank you for this lesson Loverslab, you den of devious horrors. :P

I once did a playthrough of a female cheerleader type character who only cast illusion buff spells and healing spells on allies that of course wore some skimpy clothing. And this was after a playthrough of a male character who only used a shield to act as a team meatshield who was the most noodle-armed punching bag that was impossible to kill but could only kill butterflies by himself. Both were hilarious and surprisingly tactically fun to play on higher difficulties, and i didn't give a fuck about any feminist hypocritical bullcrap ruining my experience.
