I dig how the song starts sadly meloncholic as if the tone is representing what the singer feels and halfway through the tone shifts. Reminds me of how sadness turns into anger and then turns to shame.

i didn't think you were right. but then I went through that whole thing of being sad, mad, and ashamed.

I know this comment is like 3 years old, but honestly this song’s structure is like the emotional rollercoaster of having a panic attack.

I had the pleasure of attending a show of Citizen and Sorority Noise back in March. I purchased the tickets keeping Citizen in mind, and having it be one of my favourite bands, though I had run into the name Sorority Noise a few times in the past. I ran a little late and showed up in the middle of Sorority Noise’s set, and I managed to walk in just as they were finishing up a song. I quietly made my way to the edge of the crowd, just before the next song. The lead singer whispered into the mic “This one’s called Your Soft Blood” And I’ve got to say, I was caught a little off guard by how silent the the crowd was. Anyway, they began to play through the song and in all honesty, I had never gotten goosebumps from music, nor did I believe one could. Not until that moment. Sorority Noise’s live performance will forever be the most beautiful and impactful experiences in my life.

This might actually be my favorite song. It just goes SO HARD. Probably will find a different song to call my favorite song soon once I overlisten to this song, but for now, I'd say this song is really really good.

How do you become more to your friends than a conversation piece Does it make you feel better knowing you got the best of me? I wanna mean enough to someone that they feel the need to tell me they feel the same I can be replaced I can be replaced Less than perfect ideologies this half-hearted psychology is bringing about the part of me that can't go to parties and stays in my room that can't go to parties and stays in my room Define me with long hair and cheap wine refine me to slurred lines and blank stares define me with long hair and cigarettes don't chalk me up to anything less than sin Define me with long hair and cheap wine refine me to slurred lines and blank stares define me with long hair and cigarettes don't chalk me up to anything less than sin

This hits me so hard every time, I listened to this song for the first time the day before my gf left me. I had listened to sorority noise for the whole time we talked but things have changed now, transition from No halo and Using was really fast. Now this is just another song in my playlists of the smiths and the cure, damn haedyn, why'd you have to break me?
