This is so very helpful! And, necessary. I don't want my non-Ham friends and family to have to make sense of all this. I think one of the traits of an excellent club is one that is there and assists with the survivors of silent keys. I used to be a professional magician -- there we were protecting secrets. But the magicians groups worked as much as they could with surviving SOs and family. I've assisted many families with that past hobby. But this hobby of radio is as almost as expensive as the magic one. With assets that have a very selective or limited interest group, this is a service those of us in our hobbies should work with others we play with, to make all our needs planning zeroed in. ;-) I am so pleased to see this from ARRL!!!
