Tyler, I used to be an economics teacher & adjunct professor. Today, I spend my time building a sales team, and helping women make money without having to tie themselves to a 9to5. This change saved my life and certainly transformed my perspective above it the world. Thank you for sharing this episode today. I left my first job and got fired from my second because I was too afraid to leave again. My story is about recognizing when something no longer serves me and having the courage to move on. While I still cherish my role as an educator, I’ve found a new path that aligns with how I want to contribute to the world. And if that ever changes, my story reminds me that it’s okay to walk away and discover something new.

Thanks! I listen to Wake Me Up almost every morning because I'm going through a divorce and a child who is transitioning. It helps me a lot, but this particular one is really really important to me. I've downloaded it and I plan on using it and listening to it over and over again, I'm an artist who has been struggling with my art journey, as well as life journeys. Thank you for sharing your journey. I, too, left the educational profession 2 years before full retirement. I was not giving 110%, and the stress of the position was affecting me. 4 years later, my husband passed away suddenly , and after 5 years, still doubt how far I had to come to be me alone again. I wish I could see myself the way others do. My husband could ground me, and I yearn for his voice again. Still, I live for him, carry on, and give back. So, from teaching I now have a small cleaning business ! I enjoy helping and treat each home as if it is mine! Cheers to your decision and I'm glad I found you.

Tyler, what I love about your show is that it’s changing my perception of meditation. Before I started listening to Wake me Up every morning I saw meditation as a moment when you close your eyes and meditate. But now, for me AND because of you it could be just listening to something you have to say and THAT will put me in the same uplifting mood and energy as a traditional meditation.
