What drives you? How do you differentiate between needs and motives or motivations? When we are not aware of needs, we act based on our feelings, thoughts, habits, or impulse. In essence, each of these types of motivation can serve as a way to deny our responsibility for our choices.

@@queenwarrior281How's that working out for you? The reason I ask is because I'm not sure that listening to various topics every single night is good for your brain? Your brain needs to reboot itself by sorting out what happened to you during the day vs. being forced to process additional information. So yes, I would absolutely research what you are doing just to make sure it's not causing your brain sensory overload? 😌💖

Most people do not realise what compels them much of the time. I find that the natural instincts of being territorial and of being competitive drive this modern world and we may have pushed it too far. It's important to understand ourselves better so that we can find a better balance in order to ameliorate both long and short term outcomes. I believe we are in for some nasty shocks over the next few generations. We should not accept and adapt to the problems we caused we should be able to see them coming and act as a global unit before it is too late. It's time to better understand, better regulate and educate the world. If only we could unite as one global group who share and welcome while working on balance in our ecosystems as a priority in the actions we make.

It's a truly a lovely dream, and I feel like we all wish this deep down (at least I hope it's a majority) and that there's a force difficult to articulate, making it equally so possible and scarily improbable. I hope we can keep evolving and becoming whole. I know we haven't seen the last of evil and tragedy but at least it's on the road to a cosmic awakening. Also Ameliorate? Cool fucking word, looking it up now! 🤘😎🤘💕 Edit: It means to fix up something that really needed it, taking care of a bad situation. Amelioration, dude niiiiiice worddddd SHIT 😂

Hey there! 😊 Just wanted to share a little historical tidbit - Sigmund Freud was actually born in the Austrian Empire, in what is now the Czech Republic, and later became an Austrian citizen. It's a common misconception that he was German, probably because of his influence on German-speaking intellectual circles. He did end up moving to the UK later in life. Such an interesting figure with a multinational story! Hope this adds to the conversation. Cheers!

37:10 - The purpose of life is not as simple as a matter of taking what is pleasurable and avoiding what isn't pleasurable, nor avoiding what is painful and pursuing what is not painful. It's a spectrum; a matter of pursuing the option that is MORE pleasurable, and pursuing the option that is LESS painful. For example, upholding religious beliefs may not be pleasurable, but it sure is less painful than being condemned to hell. People will fight for good even if it affects them negatively. This is where morals and conscience become important and is unique from individual to individual; for instance, someone may decide to metaphorically "take a bullet" for their partner, because the pain of seeing their partner hurt, exceeds the pain that they would feel if they were to take said bullet themselves; another person may not make the same decision as they would feel less pain to see their partner take said bullet. We are ultimately driven by the avoidance of pain, or to take the route that is less painful. Pain just means different things to different people, and certainly a different type of pain between a selfish individual versus a selfless individual.

safety distance acts as buffer zones for less reactive persons, people stops closer to the car above and let them start first to make a safe distance. self driving will do nothing against excessive flow on restricted ways.

Is this video about the subconscious mind as its title says or about cars, roads and traffic? I've tried giving it a while considering it could be a long metaphor, but I'm convinced this is youtube displaying the wrong video, or the uploaded mistitled this video

A soul carries the possibility of purpose. Before you start, you must--or SHOULD--see your end. For, if you do not, then how would you even know when you'd arrived at "your" destination? Must give us pause. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨ "Before I start, I must see my end. Destination known, my mind's journey now begins. Upon my chariot, heart and soul's fate revealed. In time, all points converge, hope's strength resteeled. 6:00 NOT everyone thinks they are a good driver. Many find that they are not the best drivers but that they can get to where they need to and that's enough. Others are afraid of driving on highways or in busy cities. You can tell a scared driver often produces more reasons for crashes then those who aren't. Breakchecking is a prime example of how a fear of an event produces the event by drastically increasing its likelihood.

I sit in traffic 3 hours every day for my commute? 1 hour driving is smooth on the way to work, but on the morning it is hell returning home. It has been more than a year and a half and I don’t get pissed off anymore, I just analyze people, and the way they rush to merely cut some seconds off their commute.

My friend continued to have the same dream about her teeth being broken, repeatedly she would wake and tell me, " Well it happened again." Mind you she only had 1 cavity at the age of 25. She was always told by dentist how perfect her teeth were. Within 3 months her teeth started suddenly receding, and breaking. She didn't change her hygiene. The only thing that was different was she recently got involved with a man who was abusive and had NPD. No. He didn't ruin her teeth, but due to her engagement with ongoing stress it triggered autoimmune disorder which in turn proceeded to affect her teeth. Crazy

This is a fascinating video and by and large I’d recommend it. The only issue I have is this guy’s grammar. More than once he says like “much more harder to predict than others” and “the seemingly abundance of caution” and loses me. (S/B: much harder to predict… / seeming abundance of…) These errors very much distract, but aren’t dealbreakers.

I love driving, where I also work full time as a driver, but most of the times I drive I’d rather do something more productive than driving. And when self driving cars are overall safer and better than the best drivers, it would be great to be able choose, not just having a 100% self driving car. And when self driving cars get to that point, I’d rather let it drive, since it will be better and safer than I would be (doesn’t matter if I would be the best driver in the world, because humans has close to zero chance to be as consistent and reactive as an AI or AGI. But again this all depends on the quality and the reliability of these technologies). Where I’m also concerned about the potential implications autonomous vehicles have, and what the consequences of a strong solar storm would be. Where we can only hope the engineers will take this and other outside factors into account. I also love ICE cars, where I’m aware of the polluting factor of it. This has not been fixed by EV’s, but more in my opinion mostly worsened. As the cars are produced like cell phones, expandable with a short lifetime. Toyota and Hyundai are currently working on an ICE hydrogen engine where this might actually be a potential solution all depending on where the hydrogen gets produced and what power stations are used to produce the FUEL for these cars, but then again we have tires, brake pads and so many other production factors to also consider when it comes to the environmental impact of such.
