Most narcissists can't stand to see anyone exceed them in any way. It makes them extremely uncomfortable. They can't even give a compliment without including a "but" which includes some critique of their own. They're truly disgusting in the way they just seeth with insecurity, envy, and jealousy; and currently it seems like there's an epidemic of them which is why I don't have any issues living alone like a hermit. Tolerating them on a daily basis is just a drain I'd rather live without.

@golgothapro I agree that there is a shortage of people openly giving others compliments. People can feel threatened by others, and so they withhold compliments. I, too, feel that we should openly support others' talents and achievements by making a positive statement. I also noticed that those who don't receive very many compliments do not like giving others compliments. I know that two positives and a negative (constructive criticism) motivate others to actively develop areas where they may see less success. I received high marks in a variety of areas for my teaching practicum. One high mark was for my ability to seek, accept, and apply feedback. One bit of feedback that went over my head was concerning teaching assessment. When assessing students' learning, teachers need to use a variety of assessment tools, for example, anecdotal, observational, rubrics, checklists, work samples, etc. I didn't quite understand how simplistic the checkist should be. All my assessments had too much detail. Although it was thorough, i didn't demonstrate that i could effectively use all the assessment tools regularly throughout the 2 weeks. I feel that if I had processed that feedback better, I quite possibly would have gotten a high mark for my assessment. I will admit that I prefer rubrics because the degree is set, and I could put 7/10, ect, while marking and then refer to the rubric to give them explemplary, proficient, average or developing. Where as with a checklist, it's a pass or fail, tick, or cross situation. I don't feel that a checklist has enough information to assess a student's work sample accurately. The highs, middles, and lows all receive the same mark with a checklist. That makes it difficult to put support measures in place or make work more challenging for certain students. I needed the detail to see where they were at, so I knew where I was at. Long conversation, but this situation is why feedback is so important. Learning from more experienced people and accepting the feedback is important. But I understand that the intention behind the feedback is also important. I had exceptional mentor teachers this year. I was a very lucky man. A kind and honest word can make a world of difference when it's genuine. If I don't like something, I just dont give a compliment, hahahahahaha. I always give myself compliments. I was asked to describe myself in one word, I wrote " exceptional" because I am, hahahahahaha. It's not cocky or egotistical to compliment ourselves. Those who are threatened by the success of others will always be disappointed with their own success. We all succeed in our own time. The longer it takes, the more fulfilling it is. Clap for everyone in the meantime.

✨🪷so many confirmations in this lovely read, but the parts that stood out to me most in this read were 4:46 through 5:05, it's important to protect our energy from those who are low vibrational, seeking to undermine and take advantage and possibly humiliate some of us, I could randomly smell the smell of PALO SANTO off and on during this whole lovely read, which to me signifies "cleansing" its important to keep the energy clean, from people like this, so so very thankful and appreciative for this lovely reading, I accept this reading with love and light and healing. ✨🪷🪷🕊🤍🤍🌟🦋
