Your THERMOSTAT Can Do Some Weird Things Like…

It hit me one day that the issues I was having after the head gasket fix on my Prius that may be coming from a seemingly UNRELATED source. My low-ish power and worse gas mileage is now fixed! But, let me tell how I figured it out and why it's important for new cars.

Without thermostat it stayed in open loop (and so ran rich) I guess.

Aren’t new cars just full of plastic nonsense? Sometimes drives me crazy all the clips and having to have everything line up just perfectly in order to go back together.
