I actually checked your page to see if you had a walkthrough for this game. Thanks! 3 things I wanted to point out: 1. You can toggle the flashlight by clicking the right stick. 2. To unlock the safe Achievement, you have to open the safe on the first attempt. 3. When doing the QTEs, you have to press the button when the shrinking circle reaches the prompt, not when it first appears. This should be obvious, but I wanted to point it out. James Terrell ok so i just read on trueachievements that you can quit the game manually from the dashboard and load the game back up load your checkpoint and get the QTE right that time and the achievement pops. Just tried it, it worked for me!

For the qte achievement, if u mess up just quit out of the game immediately. I booted it back up and got it to unlock (thank god)

Thanks Maka i Just Finished it.. The Key Lucky Achivement took me 12 tries, and if the Bear Kills you in the EQT just restart tje game on the menu, i failed 2 times and still got all achivementes

Thank god you typed this. I was resetting my game for like an hour because I couldn't get that one matchbox after I f'ed up the puzzle the first time and had to reset. I thought it just wasn't spawning because the game is so poorly made in a lot of areas. You're a life saver

That one caused hell for me to. I'd already got the jumping into light's achievement, and kept coming up one short on matchbox pieces. Eventually I jumped round in frustration and there it was.

The game is slow and is boring so I'm glad I paid $2 for it, I wish I only paid $1 or less because this will be part of the hundreds club because it's for games that I bought on sale that I don't care about and only wanted achievements.

If it helps anyone...if you get touched by the bear...dashboard quit, load back in and you can get the achievement.

if your trying to do the matchbox just turn the speed of youtube down to .5 and you will be able to follow no problem Maka's metthod with plenty of time still left

If the bear gets you all is not lost!!! I didn't know Maka had done a guide for this game, so was following someone else's walkthrough and kept getting caught by the bear at around the 15:00 bit. I salvaged the Criterium achievement by quitting to dash, loading up another game then loading Your Toy up again and was back at the hammering wall sequence. Followed Maka's advice and got the cheev!

One thing about the very beginning is the urinals with the code to the locked safe IS RANDOM. My code was very similar to makas but with one oddball. I got mine wrong a bunch and figured it out eventually BUT if you dont get the code right the first time, no achievement will pop up. I thought it was just delayed but i had to finish the game and start again and complete that safe part again for the cheevo

if you fail the fire sequence, you have to do the ENTIRE of the bedroom again. About 10 minutes. Such a pain.

For the key achievement.Go around until you find it, then return to menu. Continue the nightmare and then go directly to the light, that had the key inside of it. This was how I did it.

I be honest as a gamerscore hunter this game isn't straight forward and very glitchy at times I find the controls shocking not worth the time or money of the game.. this is a great walk through but theres so many other better cheaper games out there for gamerscore AVOID THIS GAME!!.. great walk through maka :)

It's not that bad, and considering what games are coming out now... this actually felt like a game and not a project, it was an interesting concept and reminded me of obscure asian horror, stick to ratalakas "games" if you want easy gs, but meh numbers kind of mean little with how many stacks there are and what's considered a "game" now. was this worth 5 dollars or under? Absolutely, even if it wasn't "amazing" at least if it was terrible it was cheap, now if you spent like 60 dollars on a game and it was terrible THEN i'd be pissed lol.

hey maka i played on ps4 n just want to let you know: 'thumbs up' - doesnt have to be on the first try! i failed the QTE, died, just pressed continue, passed it the next time, n still got the trophy :) 'beginners luck' - you also dont have to find the key first try! i stayed in the level, smashed all the lights i think my key was in the fifth n the trophy still unlocked :) rest of the guide was great thankyou :)

I didn't encounter any of the problems or glitches that a lot of people said to have had. I just watched the walkthrough and paused my game after each achievement and planned out each part using this walkthrough and common sense before proceeding. I have played many games similar to this over the years. this doesn't even make my top ten list of worst games I have played for achievements. didn't think it was that bad myself.

Honestly, my biggest gripe with this game is purely achievement based with how RNG it is and you have to do RNG stuff the first try, other than that the game itself wasn't too bad. If it wasn't in a bundle with DYING: Reborn and on sale I probably wouldn't have grabbed it but for the most part it was ok. People have to remember it is a VR game ported to a not VR version which is completely backwards so it'll make sense the game doesn't function too properly. But decent overall game, cute story.

As Nameless Dread said, the safe combination in the beginning is random each game. I just had to restart the game 'cause I assumed it was the same as the video. No big deal as it's only a few minutes in, but just a heads up.

If you get caught by the bear, just press the home button, and quit the game. Quick! You'll get a fresh start at that scene. It works at anypoint I guess, I just did it at the second bear encounter.

Just for the record you do not have to uninstall, reinstall game and delete save all you have to do is hit the home button and go to quit game.

For the safe achievement, you gotta make sure you open on the first try. I had to replay the game because I input the wrong code.

17:16 I went right 7 times in a row and didn’t get a key. On the 8th time I went left like Maka and got the key exactly where he got his. I suggest trying left side more than right. Maybe try the first light you see on the left too.

Υοu must delete all the Your Toy saves and to try again. Dont forget to back up on a usb drive or into cloud each time before you have to try something that if you fall , will have to repeat the game from the beginning. I tried as you did, and didnt work, so I had to download the backup save and finally worked.

Just for any lat people like me if you didnt get the QTE timed right the first time quit the game then continue the nightmare you will spawn inside the bathroom again so just unlock it and get the paper then try again. It worked for me just quit and then try the night mare out again

different spawn each time, so stick with the first light on the left. Just set your hammer when you pick up the note from the door. you don't have to fight the bear because you'll be quicker to the light. if the key's there then who cares if the bear catches you, you got your achievement.

Not sure if they updated the game but I just got lucky with the qte achievement 😅 I managed to miss it the first time around and then I reloaded the game didn't have to uninstall didn't have to mess with the cloud save and I managed to get the qte achievement no problem

I can't figure out how to knock the rocks out of the way to get into the bedroom. I've fought off the bear for over 30 minutes, and it's incredibly annoying. Not sure how Maka got it to start either since there is an edit at that part. This is very very frustrating
