You are very right. Bond in faith is stronger than bloodbond. It showed itself very early in Uhud, Badr...All -isms give birth to each other, and they all divide. Islam unites, no matter which nationality, social status, geographic position etc...
@yasser71392 ай бұрын
Discussing nationalities, nationalism, and ideologies can be challenging because everyone has different perspectives shaped by their unique experiences. It's often hard to convince others to share our views, and we may struggle to find people who think like us. Sometimes, we need to accept this diversity and let go of the need to find people who completely align with our beliefs. This is also true within the Muslim community, where, despite commonalities, there are diverse ideologies and practices. However, the core values and principles of Islam provide a strong foundation. Focusing on these shared beliefs, rather than the differences, helps create unity. As long as we stay true to these fundamental principles, we can embrace diversity in other areas and live harmoniously.

I heard a story by brother Gabriel Al-Romani said the same thing, i think he was visiting east Africa with some black non Muslim western guys, the strange thing is that he get along with the locals very quickly because he's a Muslim and they treated him just like one of them even though he's European from Romania, while they kept a distance from the others despite being blacks. Values and the way you see life is they only thing you can choose, not your nationality or family or skin color or ethnicity, even if the culture is totally different you can relate to other people from the other side of the globe if the have the same moral reference as you, and if there's any differences you go back to the source (Quran and Sunnah) and submit to it.

But its very difficult to speak with them about religion because they believe in the spirits of ancestors and different superstitions. When i tell them something about tawheed, aqida, they look at me as if i'm a weirdo.

@@Timur_Alma-ata this is the aftermath of living in a society where religion is forbidden and everything else is given a green light, which is sadly what happened during Communist rule. Bearers of knowledge about islam were imprisoned for life or killed. Ignorance naturally spread where pre-islamic beliefs made their way into practice in post-communist societies. But, all praise to Allah SWT, people nowadays try to educate themselves and others around them to the correct way, just like you pointed out.

Everyone has a fundamental worldview and belief system, religious or otherwise. Those who insist they don't are usually just like that because their worldview is so entrenched into their life and environment that they dont even realize it's a particular system, they just take it for granted that this is how the world works. It's pretty easy for it to be like that especially if it's the same ideas and values of the era's dominant civilization. This era's dominant civilization is the West.

You are so right. I really like to listen to you speak. I am very open, and have always been a soul very much searching for the truth. I am brought up and are living in secular Norway though…Who has the very strict religion of science, atheism and «experts». I always knew there were something wrong with all the «ismˋs» and did never sign on to any of them. But at the sane time, i didnt really..like really! look in to any of the major religions. Its pretty strange, cause Ive always been very occupied with spirituality - without knowing what excatly to belive in. I do have the morals according to christianity, I try to live by them at least, and stretch for the ones Im not quite teaching. But i do lack any real faith - the only thing I do know is that the anser is _not_ atheism. There are defintly a force that is good, and i fo belive thats God. But how can one be certain of which one? I seriously dont know. But I actually just looked in to the theoligical aspects of the world. I cant belive i havent been reading it like this before, I just thought the were huge entitites that created all the wars! I now realize its corrupt humans doing that. With my very little knowlegde this far i found out that of the big ones, I find the catholic one, and actually (Im saying actually cause we are very propagandized against it here! 😒) Islam seems like the truest ones, and like the ones least corrupted in and of it self. The other thing is if any of those direction would like to have me! - a middleaged woman with quite a lot of baggage! 😳🫣 But i do really love listening to you. You sound very truthfull and have a voice of honesty and integrity. And says nothing that sets of any…»thats just wrong» in me. On the contrary! 🙂 Thank you so much, and i wish you a beautiful day! Love and respect from Norway. 🙂

Certainly, to live as Allah loves. I remember hearing Sheikh Abdul Mohsen Al-Qasim, the Imam of Al-Haram Al-Madani, saying: Whoever wants to meet his Lord with a correct eaqidah should read the Book of Tawhid by Sheikh Muhammad Abdul-Wahhab and the Book of the Wasitiyya Doctrine by Ibn Taymiyyah. Unfortunately, many Muslims are confused about whether asking for intercession from the dead is polytheism or not, and some do not know whether God is in heaven or everywhere. These books explain the most important matters in aleaqidah for a Muslim.
@LARESCIV3 ай бұрын
I don't think I've heard any muslim be confused on if God is everywhere or not and asking for intercession, who even uses that word in muslim world? Honestly it feels to me you are trying to make it look like theres problems where there are none. Main problem of muslims nowdays is lack of spiritual wisdoms and guidances on how to overcome personal ego issues and transcend lower nafs, it's still too much focus on form and materialism still and that creates spiritual sickness.
@مصطفى213 ай бұрын
Muslims knew what is tawhid and proper aqida before Ibn Abdul Wahhab wrote his books. No Muslims are polytheists. Islam is simple and the Qur’an is clear

@@مصطفى21 exactly, I don't know where his rant comes from or if it's a local thing where he's from that muslims have such problems.

@@مصطفى21Your words are correct, but the Ottoman Sultanate spread Sufi orders and polytheistic practices in the Arab countries. For every grave of a Muslim imam, they built a shrine over it and then encouraged Muslims to seek intercession from the dead. These are practices introduced by the political authorities and they contradict the doctrine of the early Muslims. Many Shiites and Sufis still practice polytheistic worship and seek intercession from the dead as intercessors for the Creator, and this is not permissible.
