@ndiboomer The tractor will pull it no problem... I had two guys standing on the box while I was dragging it before just see what would happen... probably 400 pounds of people balast. I just want to be sure the ram will be able to lift the box.... Just ordered a carb rebuild kit and will be able to test it in a few days.

Quick question, how thick was that tank? I am getting ready to build a box blade and have an old propane tank and was just wondering if it would be thick enough,

Honestly I don't know the gauge of the tank.. it was not a high pressure tank, so I would imagine a propane tank would have a thicker steel... actually the design of the scraper and the bottom cutting edges I built from thick angle iron take most of the abuse away from the blade itself and put it on the side c-channel steel and cutting edges.

I drilled the propane tank the other day... Its 1/16" thick... I think i will find better alternative!

KydexByParlusk If you could come across an old 80CF or larger cylinder of argon or other non-explosive gas...maybe one that is not certifiable for hydro reasons...and split it lengthwise... the steel for those high pressures should be suitable for a blade.
