CAR AC BLOWER FAN CLEANING | AT HOME | HOW TO | POLO | FABIA | JETTA | AUDI | VOLKSWAGEN

Just like everything else on our car , AC fans and blower also need time to time cleaning for best air flow , so how we know that out car ac blower or fan is dirty and needs cleaning ? all of this work can be done at home with some basic hand tools
there are some very classic signals by which you can be sure
1. car ac blower making more noise as compared to airflow
2. dashboard vibration while ac is on
3. not enough cooling from ac
if you have anyone of these problems then chances are that you car too needs a blower fan cleaning
performed on a volkswagen polo , process identical on vento , jetta , passat , skoda fabia , skoda rapid , golf , octavia , superb , some models of audi like a3, a4 , a6
process similar on every car , majorly 99% of all the cars.

This video was very helpful.. my ac blower motor makes rattling noise whenever car hits a pothole. It was very annoying. When I opened the motor the shaft was covered with dust and minor rust. So I lube the shaft and clean the motor. Now the sound is gone and the fan speed is slightly increased. All credit goes to you sir . Thank you ....

Sir both are identical in nature polo or vento , even same car vento just has a boot . Petrol or diesel , that totally depend on your choice , which exites ypu more a diesel or petrol !

Foul smell is due to formation of algae and fungus in high humidity environments , just try to disinfect , it will go away

Sir sometimes the blower rotary control gets messed up , and doesn't respond , if everything else except the blower control is working then its the only suspect

Sir , there is no diffrence in performance apart from the induction noise , and even a compromise , because its proved that k&n filter are not good at filtering fine dust , whereas the OEM filter is quite good at it . One more disadvantages is that k&n uses oil on filter which starts to kill the MAF sensor . So sir i would not recommend it .

Hey man, so i did the same process along with removing the blower, removed the bushing etc. However after reinstalling everything, the blower motor is giving off vibration in 3 and 4 fan speed. What could be the issue? Can i fixx it?

Sir you didn't clean it properly, every blade of the blower needs to be cleaned , even if there is 1gram of dust on one side , its sufficient to make the blower disbalance and induce vibrations

Sir for glove box , latch can not be adjusted but the rubber bumps on both the top ends can be , they have a hole in the middle , and they have a T15 screw inside , you can just make them a Little loose as per your need

Sir heater or ac ? It is something which happens only when ac is on , and that too on 900-950 If its happening at heater as well then i suspect there us something wrong with your climate control unit , (which maybe turning ac and heater on at same time)

Thanks for the video. I'm using a 2012 polo and there is "tap tap" sound when I switch on the key. It will last for one minute and then disappear. But when I turn on the ac and the recirculation mode is off, it start to sound. I showed it to ASC and they said the blower should be replaced. Can I repair it myself without replacing..? Also, there will be a smoke or chemical smell in the car when I run the ac in recirculation mode..I did 3M cleaning but still I can feel the Smell when I go for long trips...could you please help me to sort it out..? Sir the tap tap sound , is ac recirculation flap opening and closing to verify its end to end points And the smell you encounter can be of fuel , as the tail pipe is facing downward and on idle the smoke emissions from the tale pipe gets trapped under the body of the car , if the recirculation flap is not properly closed then the blower unit will pull air from outside and you will experience a smell , the thing we can do is circulation flap motor calibration , it can be done via VCDS or Obdeleven , and flap and the sealing surface for the flap needs to be cleaned as it collects alot of dust , so that it can seal against the opening properly .

Sir its air circulation vent , which is inside the HVAC unit , maybe the flap is stuck or the motor which controls the flap , gone bad . ( In automatic climate control system) If it's manual then the wire may have got loose from the anchoring point .

sir , have to check first that flap is not stuck , as it can sometimes due to dust accumulation , then the motor which rotates the flap will be on the suspect list , and in some rare cases wiring issues can also be the reason .

Sir fir the light on tha dash you have to flush out the sedimentor ( I have a video on the channel ) and for rpm issue if it doesn't get resolved by the sedimentor then we have to check the throttle position sensor , which is located on the acclarator pedal itself
