Sir i have a polo 1.5 tdi there are no fault codes or errors in my car. But when the car is fully loaded with passengers the car hesitates to climb an uphill road from a fully stop position. After flooring the accelerator in 1 st gear still the car rpm comes down and comes to idle please help

I have clean maf sensor the whole intake system and tried the diesel purge also but no use it is still as same i also checked the turbo core condition also and the vgt was also working fine still the problem exists. I also talked about this issue in the showroom and they said the car has only the performance of a 1.2 TDI and it has a lot of lag in 1000 rpm to 1700rpm the car pulls fine on flat roads

@Max77752 sir then look towards the cam and crank sensor data as well , if even its off by 1-2° then it will create issues , and check the timing as well ( specifically the tensioner)

Was the car jerking when you would let off the accelerator? My car (automatic) is giving a pull back like as if the fuel supply has been cut off and when i step on the accelerator it gives a jerk and then its fine. This keeps happening and mostly happens in traffic and at slow speeds. Was trying to figure out what can cause this and cam across your video. The service center guys say its normal and they cant find any issues. My thoughts were may be sparkplugs or mounts were worn out.

Hey bro.... I love the content that you make. I have Skoda Rapid 2014 1.6 TDI. My turbo failed few months ago so I changed the core just the Turbocharger Core. Now the car's performance has gone down and the turbo makes a whistle sound be it in low or high RPM. I'm getting this error code - P004500 (Turbocharger / Supercharger) Boost Control 'A' Circuit/Open 'Active/Static'. Can you please suggest what to do.

Sir if you have already replaced the resistor then the only other thing left is the switch itself or wires , check them as well Is it an automatic climate control or manual ?

@yourDIYneeds Car is driven for about 1.8lakh kms. I replaced clutch and release bearing on 1.4lakh km. The same jerking issue came after sometime. So again I replaced clutch, flywheel, release bearing at 1.7lakh km. But still facing the same issue. Sometimes the jerking is very minimum and at times it is higher like the engine is about to stall.

@tenwheeler and sir what about the timing situation ? What else has been done ? If the problem still exists after clutch assembly replacement , then we have to look into the crank and acm correlation data to see , if both of the sensors are providing the right data , and i will also advise you to check the electrical connections on the top of injectors for any sort of carbon buildup Because apart from that there is only cam- crank correlation which can do that , but you didn't have any starting issues , so that thing is ruled out . Just as a Causing check the integrity of all the main engine electrical sensors , like injectors , MAF , anti shudder valve , boost pressure sensor .

@@yourDIYneeds Hi sir, Thank you so much for the comprehensive insight. The culprit was a faulty MAP sensor. I have replaced it and recalibrated. Now the car is much more smooth than before. I'll keep the above points in mind if I come across the same issue. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! It certainly helps a lot to correlate the issues. About the questions asked previously, I recently did the timing and checked the camshaft adaptation intake Bank 1. The values are at 0 degrees. Completely replaced the old components such as turbo, intercooler, and cleaned charge pipes, catalytic converter, did a rollback to pre dieselgate firmware. Now it just feels as if it's the same car bought back in 2012.

When accelerating at around 2k rpm car gives black smoke and in hard acceleration it creates black cloud that i can see from irvm its 1.6tdi clocked 1.98lakh km but no drop in pick up or fuel economy and no fault code injector changed at 14k kms. is it becoz of intercooler?

What if the steering used to jerk alot and not it doesn’t move at all? The steering is stuck. It used to only work in warm weather or after being warmed up. It’s electric. Does it need grease or new tie rods? I know one side is missing its boot plus there was clunking noise when the steering used to work. Now the arm won’t turn at all

Seems like the unit is seased so best is to replace it . Means you can try the wd40 way and then lubricate , but be mentally prepared to replace the rack assembly
