TIP for GH drivers!!! Keep your acceptance rate above 85% if not 95%(premiere) to get best blocks earlier and ability to setting your availability. Trust me, you'll want these benefits to make more $$$. If you're just partner they won't let you on the road(due to too many drivers on the road) unless it's busy, or early in the day. You got to keep checking back.. and refresh ...especially for picking up last minute dropped blocks. So take the low ball offers to get to 85%-95% acceptance rate to get to the top pay deliveries, and try and stay there. I use GH FOR lunch time and dinner time blocks. And then I switch over to Ubereats after 11pm in my market in Tampa fl. Can make over $120 after gas in a day if you really hustle and catch promotions. Though it can be difficult sometimes on those promotions. But we all know they're there to get us to work harder and take lower offers. Best of luck to y'all

I work GrubHub full time. Drivers work a specific region. Therefore, driving is pretty contained. At premier ranking, you can work large or catering jobs. Bags are awesome. Customer service is merely okay to non-existent. Plus agents barely have English mastered. It can be frustrating.

In my area GH average order is $8. Seems to be their favorite number. Many times crazy miles for the pay. Have to be very careful when taking orders. I never schedule a block, just go online at will. Just got an email yesterday congratulating me for making my 1000 delivery and offered me a $30 discount on the drivers store.

Honestly, the secret to getting more tips after delivery is.....before you get to any house/apartment text the person and simply say this "Hi. Your meal is here. I hope you enjoy it. I miss being a Lyft driver. My car is too old now but I remember getting $40 and $60 tips on one ride. Thats on top of the pay for the ride itself. One dude passed out in my car for a $40 ride home and I had to literally shake him awake. As he's getting out he just throws two $20 on the ground and I asked him if it was a tip and he just kind of waved it off and walked into his house. So I made $80 bucks on that ride and even got a return trip home.

I'm pretty sure they show you how to accept and complete orders in the 40-something page onboarding. I've heard that the onboarding is optional, but I actually did the whole onboarding process and felt much more prepared when I hit the road.

Those premium bags I got after my 100th delivery. As of yesterday 1/15/23 GH has been giving me the mileage. If I'm already on an order it will calculate the distance still enroute to the first restaurant to the first delivery to the second restaurant to the second delivery, it was pretty nice.

Those 2 "luxury" bags are the bags that I received when I signed up early last year. I didn't actually have to do anything to get them. I didn't get that first one, that's new. But those 2 are amazing bags. Great quality.

In my area it’s pretty busy with GH. Yesterday I made over $200 with GH. I’m in north Jersey so it can get really busy. I was getting $15 to $22 orders and when the weather is bad (rain, snow, etc), even better. It helps especially when there is a mission going on.

I decline 20 dollar orders because I couldn't tell how far the delivery was. GH is a lot of highway miles in my market. I've come to realise that it's not bad. If I had to redo it I would probably take 20dollars + if it takes 30 mins or so.

It's rare that a $20 order will take you more than an hour and often it's because it's a short distance and a large food order and that's why you're getting a $10 tip for a $15 tip I would take all $20 orders which includes the dead miles driving back to your comfort zone because if you can make 20 an hour that's about as good as it gets

Like so many things on YT it is interesting how much has changed since this vid came out. I just started up with GH last week. I signed up on Sat and was activated 2 days later on Mon. In my market they have the best offers around BUT of course you rarely get offers lol I usually do 2 GH deliveries a day (compared to around 15 between DD and UE) and get offered probably 3 lol but the deliveries I have got have all been over $15 and up to $30. I also don't do deliveries over 5 miles so yea they have been amazing...except again no one uses them here lmao It is good to see the improvements they have made since the vid was made if only we got more orders here. The most important fact drivers might not be aware of is that GH insurance only covers medical. NOT collision. Most insurers will have an add on for ride share are delivery, but NOTE: many will not cover you when you have a person or food in your are, which is to say, then the app is 'engaged', and some won't cover you when the app is in the waiting stage. It has been my experience that the only way to get coverage 100% of the time, for collision, is to purchase commercial insurance. It's about $200 per month in CA, but I do it so I not have to worry about it. As for 'ratings'. I HATE ratings. I hate being just a 'number'. I"m 71 years old, and I grew up in a world where if you didn't do a good job, you'd hear from management who got a complaint from a customer. So, with GH, if you haven't heard from management, you are doing good, and that's just how I like it. NO RATINGS, like the old days. Works for me. The GH bags are rugged. I got an Uber bag, and it was crap.

I made 69.00 for 2 hrs work. First time doing grub hub. It too me almost 5 hrs on door dash today to get $65.75 8 deliveries and 47 miles). Omg grub hub I did 4 deliveries on 3 orders. 1 was stacked for 2 deliveries from same restaurant and only drove 19 miles for grub hub. 1 order was canceled but I was sent to store so they gave me 4.25 for driving to store. One order was just over $27 another order was over $20 and 3rd was for $17. I’m in awe. Never get this with DD. I hope it wasn’t just a hey she’s a newbie let’s hook her up to get her pumped to keep up with grub hub. I gotta say I’m loving grub hub right now.

Don't forget they "don't limit drivers" to taking orders outside of their market area. So, even if the customer lives outside of the deliver area AND the restaurant is outside of the market area, you need to speak with their Driver assistance line. Half the time, they do not know what they are doing and will not help you.

What I don't like is when they send you a request for a dual order but the biggest thing you see on your screen is the amount of money you're going to make. Then in very small letters right below it, it says two orders and the mileage so when you're driving and not paying attention and you see $12 and think it's one order when in reality you're making $6 per order and having to drive further and usually wait longer in the restaurant for both orders.

What they don’t tell you….. you need the purple CARD to active the start working. This is card that you order and pay or just pay! They lost my card the 1st time and I called to get the 2nd card. Took a 2 weeks for it. Then you scheduled your hours.. you can make lots of money but they also don’t tell you: you start on your side of town and then more you around till you are done. To turn off your delivery: while your in the middle of the order, Go to Task bar, slide to Unavailable That way you get no more orders. I’m located in Las Vegas.

You'll get penalties for sure but I've done that like 10-20% of the time. Just cancel the order with a penalty don't wait over 5 minutes at the restaurant it's not worth it.

I signed up but my car only gets 15-17mpg so not knowing the mileage might he a deal breaker as I turn down probably 95% of uber eats and doordash orders because they don't pay 85 cents per mile or above. And I only do 85 cents if it brings me right hack home after the delivery with very little deadhead miles.

I have been online all day and its still on only received 2 orders all day never have i had such a low earning day I did not schedule a block. Friday is usually the best day but it was also slow maybe people were out all weekend. Whatever the case door dash is the weakest link with orders being $2.75 a order while gas in Chicago is $4 a gallon. Hope they get a lawsuit against them soon just like postmates. The most I made in Kansas City which is a medium sized city so far is $169 in 4 hours and $583 in a week working around 25 hours a week which isnt bad but I really think that its possible to make $200-$250 a day doing grubhub and thats my goal $1400 a week steady pay I think it can be done I will update once get there.

They don't tell you that you need to keep track of your actual miles for your taxes car repairs and your gasoline or in some steaks you can take your food cost up but you have to keep receipts and you have to keep a very good accounting quick and books helps there all kinds of apps free Apps and apps you pay for you just need to investigate

I waited a year and a half to get approved with them. I always see the milage on Grubhub. That's why I am at 5% acceptance. But the ones I accept are very good.

Took a year or better for me to get on board. I no longer schedule blocks because I saw no difference in getting offers or with the money I make. I average around 22 an hour mostly.

Blocks just add towards your status and give you a better chance at orders with said premier status. Avg money I make is $48 an hour with gas taken out. Only accept offers that equal 1mile per dollar as a base. Example, a $5.86 order that is 12 miles is not worth it at all. While a $20 order that's only 11miles is worth it.

They still don't show where your drop-off is when you accept your delivery,....when you see the $$/Amount= it could be a large tip or a loooooong ride.....*$UXX*.

I get the mileage in my market . It just started here. . It took me two months to get approved. I’m getting the luxury bags on Monday because they said I delivered 100 orders but the bag I got for signing up is incredible.

I signed up with gh a few months ago and still nothing. Must be good in my market and nobody is giving up their slot.
