Making Dhokla is most of the time challenging.. The first time when I saw this recipe I immediately tried it.. Because my children love Dhokla... It turned out really delicious.. Again today I have tried it in the month of Ramadhan It was super tasty and yummy.. Never found such an easy and simple recipe for Dhokla.. Thank you Sanjyot Sir.. The tips you share while making the recipes are really helpful.. Thank you for sharing your recipes.. I have tried most of your recipies and was never disappointed... Thank you ❤

I am 19 and I tried making this today, it turned out so well that everyone loved it. My mom tried to make it 2 yrs back by following other recipe but it was undercooked. This recipe and proportion of ingredients is great. Thank you Sir for such awesome recipes ☺️❤

after trying and failing almost 20-30 times by getting confused by using fruit salt, turmeric, old gram flour, old soda but this time it all worked wonders by simply following your directions. thanks for clearing my backlog of failures and hopelessness of consuming homemade halwai like khaman also it was cost effective I used to buy 100 gm kannan at ship for rs 28 but today I incurred in total RS 45 including the gram flour, salt, oil, gas etc and got more than 400+ grams in return. making a whopping savings of 84 rupees .😮😮

I have tried like 100s of recipes and all failed. This is the perfect best recipe! I tried it and it turned out perfect! Just like the one we get from halwai! By looking at it we can make out that it is a perfect Dhokla, that spongy texture! Sanjyot you are an amazing Chef!

आप बहुत अच्छे से बताते हो, बारीक से बारीक बाते जो होती है , जिनके कारण रेसिपी या तो बहुत अच्छी बनती है , या जिन्हें ध्यान ना रखो तो रेसिपी बिगड़ जाती है, उन छोटी छोटी बातों को आप बहुत अच्छे से क्लियर करते हो, vedio बडा जरूर बनता है ,लेकिन जो देखने वाले है वो तो देखते ही है. जिन्हें अच्छी कुकिंग करने का शौक हो.😊👍👌

आप के बताये ट्रिक से मैंने मोतीचूर के लड्डू, बेसन का लड्डू और ढोकला बनाया और तीनों ही बहुत शानदार बना जिसने भी खाया बहुत तारीफ की।बहुत लोगो के बताये अनुसार बनाया परंतु ऐसा कभी नहीं बना इसका आपको बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद।

My mom, my sister and even my wife always tried their best to make dhokla. Unfortunately, these trio have always failed.😅 Today, while scrolling videos on KZbin, I watched this video. Suddenly, I decided to make dhokla. I would thank Sanjyot sir, this time I could make dhokla perfectly and spongy, as we want! one tip which makes it even more fluffy that is mix the batter with hands after adding the soda, it makes the a lot difference dont know why but it does work.

Sanjyot, I made this today. Khaman has always been my favorite but due to recent sensitivity that I’ve developed to besan I avoid besan products. This one I had to try so I used 1 part besan and 1 part rawa, rest followed everything like you mentioned. Hubby said it was the best tasting Khaman EVER! Thank you 🙏🏼

Being a Gujarati from my side its 'APPROVED' ✅, Thanks Sanjyot. First time a Non Gujarati chef has cleared the difference between "Nylon Khaman" and "Vati Dal Na Khaman". Everytime i hear anyone making this recepie and calling it "Khaman Dhokla" makes me little 🤨 And "Dhokla" is something which you make from fermented rice batter, like dosa batter, it has also 2-3 varieties, White Dhokla, Yellow Dhokla, Suji Dhokla etc. But now don't mix Khaman and Dhokla 😅 How if i say Bati Chokha😂 Litti Dal😂 Paneer Makhni😂 Dal Bhature😂

It is the first time that I got a Khaman right. This is a great recipe with useful tips. I reduced the quantity of soda to half as I was worried its taste would dominate over the rest. It still became spongy.

I just made this exactly as instructed and OMG this is the best dhokla ever !!!! It tastes exactly as the market one!! It was absolutely heavenly 😋 Just one drawback though it finishes quickly so u might consider making double batch 😁

I relied on Git packets uptill this february, After I tried many other recepies. This is the best proportion I ever found on youtube. Also, this one is super among all, I didn't had "limbu phol", so I replaced it with lemon bottle juice, and followed exact same measurement as is. I don't believe it it still came out same and taste awasome, Thank you ☺

I followed the recipe and turned out perfect. I used cooker without whistle for steaming. Also, chillies should be mild spicy to give it perfect sweet, tangy with a hint of spiciness. Thank you Sanjyot....I had failed many times in past but your measurements are perfect with perfect method and tips.

Amazing recipe! Can’t wait to try it. 2 quick questions: can I use lemon juice instead of tartari? If yes then how much. And secondary I have a lot of chana dal lying around that I need to use up. So can you please show us how to make it using whole dal - can we soak it and grind it in a wet grinder and what should be the ratios of other ingredients 😀many many thanks in advance!

Had the same issue, web says to replace 1 TSP citric acid with 4-5 TSP lemon juice. Mine didn't turn out as spongy though , will try again without substitutions. Also I didn't have baking soda, so used baking powder .. this already has tartaric acid.

Chef, hamara khaman taste me acha tha, liken khaman steam karte waqth , vohi steam ka paani khaman me jaa kar vo kacha reh jaata hai, hamesha!... mujhe thaali ya foil nahi use karna...please kuch bataiye

Thankyou so much sir for this lovely recipe.....mera dhokla bilkul perfect bna jesa aapne btaya bilkul vese hi bnaya or kya btau kitna perfect bna first time j. Bnai to soda Thora zyada dal Diya tha shyad to uska flavour jyada aa rha tha but second tym to mast bna ....❤

Thank you so much for the explanation behind the quantities and actions. It is rare to have it articulated so clearly and you make it so easy to follow your recipe. This was the first time I made dokla and it came out pretty good. I know the changes I ought to make the next time so it comes out perfect.

kya aisa kabhi ho sakta hai ki sanjyot sir ki recipes try karo aur flop ho? impossible literally puri zindagi ek hi cheez thi 100 recipes dekh li youtube par bhi kafi aache chefs ki bhi lekin aisa dhokla literally ek proprer non cook ko ek perfect cook bana diya hai aapne people are literally shocked ki yeh pakka ghar ka hi hai na and the atta was homemade literally still it tasted like heaven literally i am in love with your recipes they are so perfect not only recipes but with your kitchen utensils the way you explain the way you cook it's just so amazingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg lots of love and blessings 🥰❤ aur sabse important baat no faltu chochle and faltu ingridients literally
