I love a lot to watch your channel. From TamilNadu, as I was border state to Bangalore I can understand and reply back in Hindi upto 75%. Thanks a lot Chef for your simple words, clear pronunciation and explanation which makes me to understand and to keep in touch with my basic Hindi. As a Gujarati we also add 2 table apoon oil in the dough as moin which makes it soft and little bit jaggery.. Besan is added by the Gujarati youtubers, no need for that as it tastes raw besan in mouth .Oil will do the trick for softness.we also add little bit if jaggery or gud. Make it in Groundnut oil for that Gujarati taste.

Am a gujarati and when we prepare thepla for travel, we only add dahi and try to completely avoid water to knead the dough. This has worked for us always with an extended shelf life.

Thepla which is also called’Dhebra’ in Gujarat is my favourite, being gujarati i can eat it in breakfast lunch and dinner or at any time. Thepla and Tea made in heaven combination for breakfast and dinner. I just love watching YFL content, in Mehsana region of Gujarat people makes thepla by using Bajri flour and/or combinations of wheat and bajra flour.

I loved the mooli ghiske daalte hai and pichle din ka dal bhi daalte hai. Typical of a delhi punjabi household. I do the same. For me anything that is waste goes into the paratha in winters. Loved your style Chef❤

Grated dudhi is also added in thepla , instead of Methi. Then it's called as Doodhi ka Thepla. Thepla with dahi ( plain, salt & red pepper or sweet ) also tastes very nice. Thepla is just one kind of roti which can be eaten with chhunda or any pickle. Gujarati cuisine has many items which are prepared to increase shelf life during long travel days and are more handy & tasty to eat. Thepla with makkhan !!! Watched it first time this one, punjab ke parothe ke badle thepla hi sahi, jiyo mere bhai , tusi great ho ❤

Great recipe!! To dry the washed methi leaves, wrap in clean cloth and put in washing machine dryer and run full the leaves will be dry in no time

I also made your Motichur laddoo and it came out so nice. Have also made Chicken Dum biryani and that recipe is our favorite. My husband is big Biryani fan and he also loved it.. We both follow your channel and I really appreciate your tips that helps a lot. It would be great if you can show the recipe for white makhan for people who live outside India.
