Learning guitar right now, coming from bass, came from saxophone to bass. I remembered a scale from a song we played in band, it was C, E, F, F#,G,Bb,C. It was always fun to play and I played it on bass up and down with variations, but always starting from C. It sparked blues for me. What you taught was that scale in finger/fret form and it finally clicked for me!

Love it...will give it a go... I tend to use an eclectic mix of shapes patterns that I can remember and that work...but if I'm honest I couldn't tell you what they are!! But I move them around the fret board and it seems to work....

I delved into theory, music reading, and lots of practice. The,n I hit a frustraitng, boring plateau. You know the routine - couple of ok sounds; hit the prover brick wall.
