I made my own HomeGoods inspired mirror mosaic pumpkins using mostly Dollar Tree pieces.

Your pumpkins look better than the Home Goods pumpkins. I have wanted to work with the cracked mirror for some time now, but didn’t want to deal with the small shards of mirror. Thank you for showing this method of adhering material to the back of the mirror before cracking it. I will try this way.

First I think the pumpkins came out really beautiful! What a fantastic idea to mod podge the burlap to the mirror. Although the real glass pieces looked fantastic I was holding my breath the whole time. I'm glad you didn't cut yourself when you cleaned off the grout. I think the painted pumpkins are definitely my speed. Great job!

This is an awesome ideal. I never thought about just gluing the glass to a strip then break it. Save time in fingers from getting stuck by pieces of glass.

I made these (2 of them) and they turned out out fabulous. What I wasn’t expecting was how long they took to complete. Toni, you make everything look too easy! The cracked mirror technique is a wonderful effect and there was no bleeding!

Omg! This is so awesome. I recently completed a project using a similar technique to break up my mirror into larger pieces. I wish I would have thought of using a flexible material like burlap. That was genius! Great job! So glad YT suggested your video 💕

I wonder if after initially breaking the mirror with the screwdriver & hammer, if you used a rolling pin on a softer surface, such as thick towels, foam or batting, it would break it into the smaller pieces. It would be smoother & easier to handle & grout. Painting grout lines on the smaller pumpkins is a fabulous idea.
