Another wonderful video Jen. I've been to Phuket and it is an amazing island with beautiful sunsets. Happy Birthday too. I agree making memories is better than buying things. I'm not sure if you are still in Thailand or not but if possible I'd love to see what Krabi Thailand looks like. It's not too far from Phuket and its not supposed to be as crowed as Phuket. Nicely produced video - I am envious as I spent 5 months (3 in Phuket) in Thailand this past winter and am now back in CA. Interestingly I missed many of your attractions but if you're still there or would like some more ideas, I'd suggest: Beaches: - Bangtao - best (long) beach in Phuket and neighboring towns of Choeng Thale and Bangtao village. - Freedom - most scenic, "cute" beach with 15 minute steep trek to get there. Phuket town is worth a look - Thalang Road Sunday market, Kwang Mojitos. Rawai - nice (slightly cheaper than say Bangtao/Choeng Thale) area with Nai Harn Beach and Windmill Point/Promthep Cape (great sunsets and atmosphere in evenings) nearby. One comment to be aware of: lots of controversy but please don't encourage support of unethical elephant camps. The one in video appeared to offer riding - not good. Search "phajaan" if you're interested in more background info.

Salamat po, I am gone from Phuket now but I have to say it was my favorite place of all my travels. I will keep your comments on my phone so if I am lucky enough to go back I will visit these places. Yes sir I so much agree about the elephant. The little baby was on a chain and so very sad to see. I’ve heard never to ride elephants because it is cruel punishment to teach them to ride people. @@YourlittlePinay thanks for response. And yes when you see elephants chained, mahouts using bullhook, and riding, those are all negative signs that a camp is not ethical. Even bathing is avoided by the truly ethical camps these days as elephants really don't want to be bathed multiple times every day - they kinda like to blow dirt onto themselves and use it as sunscreen. But thanks for your very thoughtful response - I will be in Philippines in Dec/Jan/Feb - mostly Cebu but may visit CDO and Mindanao also ... maybe we can even do a collab if that works for you.
