As someone who grew up here, I think it makes sense. They're gonna grow regardless. All of those farms and forests are gonna be annihilated by single houses and suburbs. This looks like a way better idea to manage and control the growth while leaving the current suburbs alone. I'd rather this than expanding the boundaries and continue the suburban annihilation

It's very corrupt. The municipal town building has the latest and greatest of everything but they can't do anything right when it comes to doing things for the community. Look at the waste of money spent on innisfil beach road and it's still terrible to drive on.

It looks like some inexperienced guy built this in cities skylines. I like their ideas (better public transit, denser develpment, locally sourced food,...), but the execution is really poor.

innisfil is perfect the way it is we dont need to cut more trees we love innisfil for the green we dont want structural buildings

The city will grow regardless. Its either a mixed use community like this that takes up much less space, or the alternative is a lot more trees being cut down for a never ending and sprawling single family homes community.
