Yep. That Australia is gone now. 😢 I'm glad I got to live through the magical 80s and 90s and even the first few years of the 21st century. The wheels started to fall off a bit after that. Now it's pretty much ruined.

This song always reminds me of our family road trip from Townsville to Mt Isa in "89".The radio stations played this song all the time along with Travelling Wilburys "End Of The Line",Will to Power "Baby I Love Your Way" and Mike And The Mechanics "Living Years".Wonderful memories!!!

I saw these guys perform at a busted arsed pub in Geraldton in WA in 1992. Paul and Wendy invited me backstage after the show. Best memory of my life. Such great people.

I see why all my much better quality Paul Norton videos were just taken down, it seems "I like Your Old Stuff" is actually Warner Records masquerading under a pseudonym. It seems Warner dont like competition of remastered videos and would prefer you guys watch in 480p.
@savagegrant Жыл бұрын
It sucks when they do that, especially when they are replaced with 240p videos AND in the wrong aspect ratio (i.e. stretched from 4:3 to widescreen) AND with advertising tacked to the end of them - you know who you are!

One of my fave Aussie tracks. Surprised it didn't do better than "Stuck on You".

I still remember this song being performed live by Paul Norton and that incredible blonde singer in a Sydney pub before it became an iconic song. If I only knew then what I know now :)

Hi Matthew the blonde would have been his wife Wendy Stapleton. Met them both lovely people!
