Abhishek bro..u can do ur PHD frm iit ..without a gate score ...but Mtech. Is mandatory above 6.5 cgpa ...gate not compulsory for Mtech students ...gate is mandatory for only direct PHD admison..(for btech students..those who want to take admison directly from btech ..in phd course ..)

Finaly u can pursue ur PHD from IIT without a gate score .but Mtech me above 6.5 hona jaruri hai...NIT me bhi same procedure hai... U can also pursue ur PHD through NDF(national doctrate fellowship ) but NDF ke through IIT yaa NIT nahi milega .only state gov clg me admison milega ..stipned will be same as iit ...in NDF

Guys asking whether they get into IISC with 35 to 45 marks really ? 😂😂🤣. Iisc is the top institute now . Leave it there's new policy issued in IISC where companies hire students earlier before they complete degree . Salary for such students are more a crore ( even if it's CTC base will be like 40 lakhs ) .no other IITs have that new policy , even if the companies come earlier they hire from btechs whereas in IISC it's purely mtechs . So iisc is the toppest for mtech . Most of the highest salaries are not revealed openly . It's the truth . To get into IISC you need atleast ,75 marks . Sometimes even more than 80 marks won't be enough . In IISC most of the beaches are hired without interview if you get all india ranks below 30 . Whereas majority iits have interviews soem people even after getting a perfect gate score sometimes fail in interview . So iisc is always a light years ahead for post graduates . So you must be under air India rank 30 to enter the campus . Don't ask unncessary questions .my father works as a professor in. Iisc.
