You know Adrianne is always going to have a very intensely intricate explanation for everything. She is constantly thinking and FEELING. I love the interaction of them all. They are real.

I got to meet Buck at a house show a couple years ago and his presence was quite moving. I was a shy, young, nervous fan boy and he took the time to get to know me and make me feel known, during a time when I felt invisible living in a new city with no friends. Buck said he’d see me around and I hope I’ll get to meet him again one day :)

This is an interview format that works so well for Big Thief. The interviewer guides them to open up and love on each other. It's so endearing. I love this.

"The Smell Of A Thousand Ladybugs Burning" is the name of my new post hardcore band.

Max: "A thousand ladybugs burning" *in a poetic timbre* Adrianne: *ponders that sentence for a hot second* *immediately says "Did you HAVE to say it like that!?!?!" with her eyes* 🤣🤣

I was so blessed to see them open in Bloomington for Kurt Vile. Totally changed my life. I love you, Big Thief. I danced like a maniac center floor for you ~

I always found it hard to listen to interviews of bands, either they lie or take themselves a bit to serious. I love Big Thief but prefer interviews of Freddie Mercury. "I am just a musical prostitute darling."

So Buck contributes nothing to the interviews as well as the music?

That would be funny if it were true by any stretch of the imagination
