Back in 2019 where I was lost and depressed because my ex girlfriend left me for another guy. I founded it "letters to our former selves" randomly on KZbin. Funny, I went through something similar. I literally was as low as you can get. I came across Youth Fountain when they were under a different name (cant remember that anymore) and it just gave me what I needed at just the right time. I share the shit out of Tylers music for that reason alone. Plus it helps that every single song is a banger!! Cant wait for to see them in the UK next year! Keep smiling 👍

Been a year since this came out and I still think that this song has some of the best lyrics ever written. "It's my flaws I look at through the half full glass" is an utterly phenomenal description of what it feels like to live with depression; even when you try and be optimistic your brain will somehow sabotage you and bring you back to dwelling on the negative.

i have a heartsick tattoo inspired by another beautiful song of his.....i drove an hour to see tyler in jersey and they told me its sold out...he plays...now its not sold out...i cant even describe like iv never been so frustrated....i mean i saw him from far away...i met him once before but totally blanked,....theres so much id like to tell this guy...iv gone over it 100000 times in my head but im sure if i ever do get another shot ill trip and just get the basics...imma 29 year old man on too many steroids and this is the only person on the planet who...i pin insane expectation and admiration on...i sent in the security guard to get merch for me...i saw him w my eyes from my car dude....its botherin me still....one day hes not gonna be as approachable as he seems now...im grateful to see him and hear the set...from outside....the album is signed but still dude...it would have been a memory of a life time to let this guy know...that there is no other music i love and let inside and keep so so close ..for years i had no way to say alot of the things i felt ..then all of the sudden , u cant help but notice when u first hear it its liksomeones talking directly to you about you.....since iv found tyler,,,i now am able to release. some of the pressure....i can cry everytime and it feels wonderful to be seen and heard by the lyrics...tyler my names austin and i live in nj....heroin got to me young...lonliness followed and stilll does ....idk....6 years later.....idk who i am and i lost sight everything it was supposed to be..thank you ENDLESSLY, for this emotional release its a perfect project from the name down to every pharase ....i get half way thru alot of the hard hitting phrases and just choke cant even get it all out..and i dont ...you probably wouldnt think it if you saw me...i cant help but believe youth fountain came into my life for a reason i dont like to think of the worst nights if i didnt have it with me...its alot...next tattoo already picked out and you know its off lonesome....
