We play this game and the kids really like it. I like the idea of letting the kids get back in when they hit someone with the ball while they are sitting. We haven’t played it with that rule but I’m gonna add it in the next time we play.

We played something similar and called it Free-For-All Dodgeball. Slight differences. When you are sitting you can't hit other people. You get back in when someone hits the person who hit you. So, the only way to win is to be the person who has gotten everyone else out.

That's fun, it builds that anticipation when you are sitting...waiting for the person who got you out to get hit!

We played it that way back in the 90s. There would be one person who got a bunch of people out and then they became the target. If you don't have balls, then you just tag and it's called everybody's it. Good times.

But if you pass the ball to kids who are “down” you can keep passing to make a chain, once someone from the chain hits someone, everyone in the chain gets up
